hey thank you for this - i just got a big ol conch and i'd been looking for something in the way of a method. your stravinski sounds great, i'm impressed how lyrical the shell sounds, and with the dynamic contrast! a quirk of my shell you might find interesting: the open fundamental is around a D above middle C, but it seems to overblow at around the flat side of an E above that.

*Cough* Yamabushi's were recorded to play about the same range in medieval Japanese history... But yes you have excelled in Conch horn playing without the aid of a mouth piece beyond the majority of people in the world.

After hearing a few people play shells like bugle .. I think this is rather sad. Still better than the people who cannot even hold a note though (how they tend to play it in india ...)
