yo wait a second. are you using spotting to get a rough distance and actually using that for "zeroing"? I hope this didnt exist in bf4, bec I would feel really stupid if it did.

Pretty sure BF4 has an actual zeroing mechanic for scopes. I don't think BF2042 does. Also I'm spotting so it's easier to see where their head is based on the 3D icon above them. I gauge distance or the drop by eyes and memory ( already knowing how much drop various parts of the reticle will result in ).

Can't zero in BF2042. That'd be a big brain move if you could though, even if it'd be broken. Although you mentioning the call outs made me actually pay attention to them the rest of the video. I tune out what mine and other people's characters are saying in game because there's often so much going on 😂 Who knew they'd have useful information?
