One thing alot of people do not realize is, what we see it not what Ravic sees. His monitor set up is custom , brightness, contrast, saturation, ect. That is how he is able to pick up on a body trying to hide in rubble, as most will walk past, as 90% plus just run default. Not only that his surround headphones lets him know where enemies are, you just have to pay attention, same thing with local gunfire, enemie sounds are louder than friendlies.

Spatial awareness people you either have it or you don’t. If people took a second to look around and listen they might play a bit better. Also movement is powerful if you are good at moving around during a gun fight you will come out on top. No hacks here just a good headset and lots of hours of play

Yo Rav, I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and I notice you run solo squads a lot. Try running pathfinder scout with the P08 Artillery. That way you don’t have to hike wherever you wanna go and you can just plop down a spawn beacon

They'll be playing medic, see their teammate get gunned down right in front of them and immediately spam E to revive them instead of securing the area. Then they'll get gunned down by the same guy and complain in chat for the rest of the game

People tend to forget how many people there are out there in the world. There are millions of people that play games and never look up KZbin videos or Twitch streams for those games. That and with how often Battlefield games tend to go on sale there are always a certain amount of new players to the franchise. Oh and I'm not that popular as some Battlefield content creators so that always makes it easier to go unnoticed in-game most of the time.

How are these people so bad that they can't tell that positioning, listening for footsteps, aiming for the head, etc are totally different from actual cheating? I mean, one of them ran across an open field with little cover and barely any concealment, gets dunked on, and screams hacks. How? Maybe I'm so used to the chaos from Planetside 2 where if you're not in cover and don't slice your angles, you're going to get killed pretty quickly - so seeing similar gameplay here that you do in BF5 get called out as hacks is just ridiculous to me.

bro i control it on console with ease. mess with your settings a little bit until you get em right. changing your sensitivity can help too i think with recoil control.

As a controller player, I respect Ravic and I understand how much of a grind it is to perfect your aiming on Mouse compared to controller. I want to be as skilled as him someday but on controller

That might be kind of hard with FPS multiplayer games these days. They seem to come with some overzealous "aim assist" these days so unless you turn that off I imagine it would be difficult to fully develop your skills with a controller. Good luck though :)

well.. bad netcode, a shitty engine and client/serverside desync coupled with prolly the worst anticheat in gaming history IS a reasonable base for this being one of the most hacker infested games. (though seemingly there are some games where like half the player base hacks, so, maybe not the worst, but definitely up there.)

The new Assault class is just boring to watch at this point. The classes still seem so ridiculously unbalanced with Assault being the pampered class that can just curb stomp every other class without even trying. In the hands of a good player, who can literally just aim, it's just seal clubbing. I still want to know the thought process of DICE when it was introduced into BF1. I mean, in terms of squad and teamplay, it's useless. It kills people and occasionally a tank, and maybe in V, buddy revives. The class is built around not helping your squad, but to inflict as much damage to the enemy. You don't help your team in any way aside from capping obj's and killing people (reviving doesn't really count, it's only your squad and the buddy revive system shouldn't exist), but every class can do that too. But DICE *had* to made Assault *special* so they made it much better at killing people that we just ended up with whatever hot garbage you can call the class now. The old classes with Engineer and without Medic felt so much more balanced and actually incentivized squad play. Ya'know, that small thing that made BF so much better than CoD. But those were probably removed too along with classes in 2042, so it's going to be a journey to fully figure out what they've done to it and to see the full extent to how useless blueberries can be.

@@Ravic gotcha, assuming you mean on the slider bar area and not the right hand horizontal? Ive always used max fov in games but in battlefield 5 I cant see anything that isn't right in my face so I've been trying to find a good low fov and get used to it!

@@tryzentv3316 The slider or the setting that you can change. The "result" or what it believes to be the result on the right isn't exactly accurate if you are playing at 16:9 resolutions as it apparently only shows the translated horizontal setting for 4:3 resolutions.

@@Ravic Ah okay gotcha gotcha, I play on a 32" 2560x1440p 144hz monitor, and on bf4 I can play Max fov and still see people really well, Bf5 just has poor visibility or something I suppose? I'm between 74-84 fov, I would do 94 but still hard to see. So would you recommend 74 or 84 on my size of monitor? ( I know it's personal preference but I just can't decide and keep switching haha, thanks for all your help!)

@@tryzentv3316 I'd still suggest 74 if you haven't gotten used to something already. Your resolution is still 16:9 so 74 in-game setting ends up being ~106 horizontal and that is pretty standard for a lot of FPS games. You could certainly go a bit higher to or until it starts to fisheye but that is also personal preference as I don't like watching fisheye or high FOV gameplay.

Are you asking about reloading weapons? Switch weapons ( from primary to secondary and then back to primary ) is usually how you can cancel a reload in most Battlefield games on the Frostbite engine.

Satisfaction for the most part because the automatic weapons didn't really feel "skillful" in BF5. I mean that early version of the STG made it clear what type of players would be using them so it turned me off from using them regularly at least with the Assault class.
