Hi Errika! Watching you from Texas 😊. Look into a college savings fund, like the 529. Some of the plans give you the option of locking in the current tuition rates and it’s a tax advantage.

@@Mearbear3000 That’s what I thought about and I’m technically not paying on interest. My high yield is making more in interest than I pay on my car. So the money is in the making money verses me paying off the car and the money just not being in the high yield. That’s why I haven’t paid it off yet.

IT IS SUPER FUN AND VERY HELPFUL. IT'S A LIFE CHANGER. START BY WRITING DOWN CATEGORIES FOR YOUR BILLS AND HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE TO PAY TOWARDS YOUR BILLS A MONTH. THEN BREAK IT UP INTO WHAT PAYCHECK IS GOING TO WHAT BILL. THEN YOUR SPENDING CATEGORIES LIKE GROCERIES, HOUSEHOLD NEEDS, ECT. THEN EACH PAY CHECK YOU WOULD STUFF THESE ENVELOPES. THEN SAVINGS CATEGORIS FOR LONG TERM. HOLIDAYS OR CAR REGISTRATIONS OR ANY THING LIKE THAT. THE KEY IS TO GIVE EVERY DOLLAR A JOB.

Girl I don’t know how old your daughter is …….but that College fund is not fully funded. You will need a lot more than 21,000. So continue to place money in that envelope.
