Bound is based off of a fanfic I wrote called 50 Shades of Drake 😈 Names were changed prior to publication. I never read Fifty Shades of Grey but did use Wikipedia to pull two scenes to pay homage to. 👌🏾

😆 I have a hard time doing straight romance. There always has to be a psycho stalker, serial killer or some other thriller edge for me to get into it. I've lived a BDSM lifestyle and so that attracted me to using Fifty Shades of Grey as a foundation for the story. I ran a Drake fanpage for some years and when followers found out I was a writer they demanded I write a fanfic about him. I saw the Fifty Shades of Grey movie trailer and immediately got to thinking who I would've cast instead (although I love Jamie Dornan now that I've seen him in The Fall). I came up with two names: Ian Somerhalder and Drake. They were two of the sexiest men at the time. Ian had recently gotten married though, so writing a full series about him didn't feel right (currently there are 6 completed books in this series with only one having been released). I cast Drake as the lead and still gave Ian a part in the series because...he's hot and seems like an amazing person. Cosmopolitan and Buzzfeed wrote up the 50 Shades of Drake story, I got the chance to publish it but had to change all of the names. And hopefully people get to see your comment so they can see how Bound came to exist 🙌🏾❤️
