How's that amiibo shopping going? HOW IS THAT GODDAMN AMIIBO SHOPPING GOING?!? Let me tell you how it's going, Andre. Spending nearly three hours online trying to find a Charizard pre-order under way too many dollars, then finally giving in and taking the bus to the only GameStop anywhere near me, and after *calling in to confirm*, not being able to pre-order a Charizard, since they sold out. But it's okay, they still have Lucina and Wario! You may be asking yourself, "so?" or, "who cares?", but this is important info. How so? Well, one of my friends from across the state just so happens to have pre-ordered every wave 4 amiibo except Lucina and Wario. In fact, he would have been glad to exchange a Lucina for a Charizard. Except I didn't know this until after I got home, and taking the bus again wouldn't get me there before closing time, and you know for certain the last two amiibos will be gone by tomorrow. That's how it's going.

I loved everything you listed. Also wanted to mention i'm stoked for those Nintendo's Best Bits things. You place an amiibo on the gamepad and it loads up a random level from a random (but awesome) franchise and you can play for 3 minutes. Not sure how that's gonna work with games like Metroid Fusion, but still awesome nonetheless.

What's really helping me with this amiibo craze is I'm not to concerned about about collecting them all, but just the ones of characters I like. Some of my favorites are hard to find (Rosalina and Marth) but that's about it. My favorite part was of course Lucas' surprise reveal. I love the Mother series. The fact that Iwata vaguely acknowledged the love of Mother 3 gives me hope that the game has a sliver of a chance of getting localized. Also, be prepared for nerd rage, Andre, from the more serious Mother fans for saying Lucas is from Earthbound and not Mother 3.
