I loved CareBears! I actually like the DiC cartoon better than the Nelvanna version. It felt more like it had its own CareBear identity! And man, I live alone too and a slow cooker is a great way to prepare tons of food in advance. Just toss a piece of meat (like a roast or something), two packet of onion soup, a quarter stick of butter, half the recommended water, let it cook at low for most of the day, toss root vegetables (potatoes, carrots, rutabagas) for an hour or two and you got food for a whole week! Add some brown rice to your meals to stretch it out and fill you up faster and you'll be eating like a king!
