I’ve always found it a little weird that the characters friends all sound as though they are talking to someone in person but all of the recordings end with a phone being put down. The biggest example being Neros lawyer, he hears about the documents and says he needs to make a call, then he says my secretary will see you out and and puts the phone down. If he’s on a call, why would he need showing out, surely he’s not actually in the office. The others aren’t as obvious but they don’t sound like phone calls 🤔

I miss dimension 63, the whole idea that technology progressed at an advanced rate because of the full utilization of element 115 was awesome. It gave wolfenstein/noir steampunk type vibes that set the tone for zombie classic tropes throughout the series like the wonder weapons, perk-a-cola’s, pack-a-punch machine, hell even gobble gums. I wish the developers would let us revisit that kinda setting, maybe another universe like 63 was or maybe even just a return of some of those maps with new stories/plot reasoning.

I’m not sure if you are still interested in answering or speculating about the zombies storyline or not but I just got to thinking. When at the end of BOTD when Nikoli reads the Kronorium does he see the story that plays out in Cold War and vanguard? He had to have known that by banishing everything to the dark either he would create the complete opposite of that also, which is the new world that Samantha and Eddie go to at the End of Tag. Essentially, if he could see all future and alternative timelines, why wouldn’t that include Cold War zombies universe? Even tho it’s a new timeline and universe isn’t it still the future for Sam and Eddie?

It's mainly how they structured the story. You're not a rag-tag group of survivors who are alive because you're needed to survive, but a whole ass division of the CIA that was made to deal with the undead. Its really hard to make important playable characters when there's no reason to. It worked in the original story because you only had so many characters to work with. Cold War is in a universe that hasn't completely gone to shit yet, and there's not really a purpose to have alot of important characters, save for Samantha and Eddie

We know that in the intro cutscene, primis comes in just after Richtofen teleports Ludvig and Samantha leaving them to die. Most likely dead By the time they were trapped in the dark aether same was only 10-11.around the time that victis was sent their zykov had also arrive dim the dark aether.He’s been in there for about 40 years by the time cw takes place.Sam is 50 by then ema in 40 years passed which matches up to zykov.In the dark aether 40 years equals to400 years.by that time they would’ve been dead.I’d they age slowly and follow the actual 40 years Russman would be dead as he was 90 in bo4,Stu is probably in his late 90s. And Misty and marlton would be 60 and that’s if they haven’t died or mutated

I feel like YEARS of my life was waisted after BO4..Like i was getting trolled and low key robbed from zombies the whole time but the game was to flashy for me to notice. I was almost addicted to the zombies mode for the story back since Black ops. After its all said and done i feel unfulfilled by how and why they ended the story.
