Ya know, I played this with my brothers at a very impressionable age. And not once have I ever correlated Kung Pow with any Asian person as a kid. I just knew he was a funny character. Their use of some stereotypes gave these characters CHARACTER. I miss renting this game

In all fairness though, Liu Kang's sound effects from Mortal Kombat are pretty clearly just some white dude making ridiculous "Chinese" sounds. It's actually pretty hilarious to listen to now.
