BORN PINK album is indeed a new and experimental approach- at least for Blackpink. Sonically, it's different to THE ALBUM. For sure some people prefer the previous one because it's has more loud EDM instrumentals. However this album offers a fresh perspective from the girls, and their voices matures in this album even more.

They probably already recorded a lot of songs, they pick the songs that would be released like a damn survival show. Idk why in this YG's mind, they always put a bare minimum 8 songs. Ryan Tedder songs were not included in this, they also rejected some songs like still alive etc. So many producers wanna work with bp but YG/Teddy's assss idk. Really makes you wondering....did this YG's people read/know about people's complaining. Also born pink is not misleading, it suits because it means more feminine, soft/slow cu*t but still with bp version. Tbh as casual listener (not really into k-pop), the songs in this born pink are friendly type for me, something I can listen/put in my car while jamming in it because usually I only check k-pop but never listen in real life.
