Just a heads up, if you haven't noticed, Kpop fans are VERY protective of their favorites. A lot of that stems from the fact that there are a lot of fan wars, but also the fact that Kpop has just begun to really hit mainstream in America within the past year and unfortunately many KZbin channels are only reacting for the likes and followers, not because they actually appreciate the music. You guys seemed to genuinely enjoy the video and I thought you did a good job on this reaction. If you like Black Pink Boombaya is a really good song, also BTS might want to be you next stop in the Kpop world. Start with Mic Drop :)

🙏🏾 I wasn’t trying to be offensive to anybody. In America we don’t learn much about Korea. Only Japan and a little about China. I know Mandarin is the most popular language over there so I said I wanna learn to speak mandarin. I know what k pop is. It was a great song and video though. Loved it. 👍🏾

I agree, kpop stans are very offensive sometimes. I do see why some people are saying what they said bc when they were replying to comments, they kind of had an attitude when people corrected them...most of these people weren't AT ALL just simply stating that they made a mistake and they're korean and thai, not chinese. Someone told them where Korea was, and they said "i'M aWArE oF wHeRe KoReA iS" like it comes off as rude and it was unecessary. And then in another comment, someone told them that they were speaking korean, not mandarin and they were like "it doesn't change the fact that i still wanna learn mandarin" why can't they just say sorry and move on instead of making excuses, they come off as arrogant imo🙄

I enjoyed your reaction videos and then I heard you say "I gotta learn Mandarin" and saw how the others commenting were correcting you. You could've just been honest and said, "hey, my mistake... Didn't realize they were speaking in Korean"... But you had to go the extra mile and try to play it off like Mandarin is like English in Asia. I hope you can understand and appreciate why ppl may take it the wrong way when you make comments like that... And they do not all speak Mandarin, they speak Korean. One member is from Thailand- the one with the killer boots. The fans can get pretty persistent, so I think the best way to react as a reactor is to be honest and try not to assume languages, ethnicities and ask your viewers for information, because they know so much about K-pop. Thanks! 😁

Hey , I just saw your video and I'm alive for your reaction . Here some quick info about Blackpink , Jisoo (the one with umbrella scene) is the oldest . She was born in 1995 , position of main visual and lead vocalist . Jennie (the one with fennel fox) is the second oldest . She is 96's liner and in position of main rapper , center and vocalist . Rose (the one in red hair) born in 1997 , position of main vocalist and lead dancer while the youngest , Lisa (blonde hair) is the main dancer , sub-vocalist and lead rapper also in 97's liner . Three of them is fluently speaking English as for Jennie been studied in New Zealand for 5 years while Rose was born in New Zealand but later moved to Australia . Lisa is from Thailand and her step-dad is Swish citizen and she is the first foreigner female that ever got into YG Entertainment . Jisoo can understand English perfectly but she is a bit shy in talking bout' it . I hope you can react more to their songs and cover especially Sure Things by Migos and So Hot by Wonder Girls . All of their songs is different from other girls group as their company is famous for recognizing talent and doing hip hop or rnb rap . Hope you enjoy it =)

I think it’s not a big deal that you didn’t know they were Korean but to say aren’t Koreans Asian as a come back is insensitive! I mean yes they are Asian but they have there own culture! Japanese Korean Thai Chinese all have different cultures, views and languages and shouldnt be viewed as the same because they are Asian.

Just a little FYI: K-Pop is Korean pop music that has the following elements...pop, rap, a little R&B in almost every song. Awesome beat drops. Some English mixed in with Korean so you're not imagining that you're hearing an English word. There are some English words that don't translate. Most choruses are easy enough for foreign fans of K-Pop to sing to and there are "chants" for fans. The music videos have awesome production and are entertaining and sometimes they're different genres.

To be honest, BLACKPINK is not a dance-based group, yet they are always killing it with the choreography! Btw the architecture is traditional Korean, some people may confuse it with Chinese, Japanese or even Arabic but it is actually not, even though they may look similar. Thanks again for the reaction!!

Some info on the girls; Jennie Kim (she goes by Jennie, can be seen at 1:10 ) is the main rapper and vocalist of the group. She was born in Anyang, a city in the province of Gyeonggi, South Korea. But she also lived in Auckland, New Zealand for 5 years. And because of it, she is fluent in Korean, Japanese, and English. Her personal instagram is @/jennierubyjane Lalisa Manoban (she goes by Lisa, can be seen at 2:01 ) is the main dancer, lead rapper, sub-vocalist, and maknae of the group. She was born in Bangkok, Thailand and is fluent in Korean, English, Japanese, and of course Thai. She became a trainee during middle school and has lived in Korea since. She's also known to be childhood friends with Got7's BamBam, who is also from Thailand. Her personal instagram is @/lalalalisa_m. Park Chaeyoung (she goes by Rosé like the wine, can be seen at 2:19 ) is the main vocalist and lead dancer of the group. She is of Korean decent but was born in Auckland, New Zealand and grew up in Melbourne, Australia. Due to her being from all over, she is fluent in Japanese, Korean, and English. Her personal instagram is @/roses_are_rosie. Kim Jisoo (she goes by Jisoo, can be seen at 2:29 ) is the face of the group, lead vocalist, and visual. She was born in Seoul, South Korea and has lived there her whole life. She can speak Mandarin, Korean, Japanese and though she can understand English, she doesn't do it often since she isn't comfortable with it. Her personal instagram is @/sooyaaa__
