It was one of the first KPOP songs I saw after I got back into KPOP (a lot of people were saying a particular group 'sounded' like Blackpink so I had to check out BP and my god I was hooked). Re-listening to this song with you has just made me want to go stream it again, can we get it to 2 BILLION views? Let's see. Also Rose visuals here are no joke, the raps are fire, everything is amazing but what I love most is the DETAIL. Like at 2:12 Jennie's dark eyes turn pink, Lisa's katana says Blackpink written on the blade, the blackboard behind lisa at 2:18 has so many references written on it and she's holding their official light stick, at 2:22 she points to the single pink tile in the ceiling, I could go on and on. Also Rose is my bias and her visuals here wooh! But despite Rose being my bias and I love her visuals so much, Jisoo REALLY stood out to me with the scene at 3:50 with freaking sparks falling on her but she's blocking it with an umbrella?! And Jisoo at 8:00 in when she says hot like fire and throws her elbows to the beat in perfect time just killed me. Plus Jisoo's outfit on that stage was my favorite of the four, the checker thing was hot. I might have a bias but all four of these girls are goddesses am I right?
