She didn't address the hate speech, and only years later, with the Netflix film we discovered why it seems as if she was lazy and not dancing hard how she used to. Another reason was because she dated Exo's Kai. Idol's dating is so controversial in Korea. People expect them to have an innocent image and continue fantasizing about them being engaged with fans. I think the more you are famous, the more you will be hated, no matter the reason.
