@Talen Ted Yes, but in the context of BP the high expectation is accompanied by anxiety that another comeback is not gonna be soon, they're used to being starved, hence trying every way to make ANY comeback as eventful as possible. BP's hardcore fans keep bragging that with such a short list of discography BP maintains to be relevant, but they don't understand the logic of it. The less songs and the more sustainable hype you have, your fans effort are more CONCEENTRATED in the few discography, hence higher numbers of listenings and views. Comparing the number with those groups with longer list of discography whose fans get a lot to choose from (hence more distributed number of listenings and views) to measure RELEVANCE is just a mistake.

They debuted 4 years ago and is now one of the Top GG, even Kpop Group around the world is a huge feat, its just part of the marketing and because of that they would be relevant for many years to come. Being in a group is not just about the music and their solo activities help them present themselves and there are no rules that states otherwise. Also their music, yes they have more smaller options to listen unlike other groups and it sucks as a blink but tht doesnt mean that their of low quality actually its quite the opposite, their music is a bop and very memorable.

Jennie is quite possibly one of the few idols out there who are transparent. With her it's quite simple, what you see is how she feels. She doesn't feel the need to conform to societal expectations of how idols should always be perfect, smile and attempt to appear friendly. I like her genuine personality as it's rare to see especially in the KPOP scene. Although I do understand why some other people would be triggered by her presence because it's something they're not used to. And i hope to those who keeps complaining to YG why they didnt release multiple comebacks, I hope you paid attention to their answers. BP emphasizes how they are trained to work together, and they go for QUALITY more than QUANTITY... they stay true to their YG blood.... and also they mentioned that they themselves will cut out the songs from the album even if its already done (recording and all) if they feel its not good enough and will start from scratch again,,,, they also mentioned that they have been working for the past 8 months.... if you count back 8 months ago, thats freaking December where they are still in their World tour which officially ended February (which means creating quality music is not something like creating a lemonade that you will finish it right away),,,,... She didn't do anything wrong and the producers/songwriters didn't do anything wrong. It was a great choice. Her rapping was great and the majority of people who enjoyed the song had nothing but praise and love for her parts. There are plenty of songs where she's had the fewest lines (DDDD, Stay, Don't Know What To Do, Kill This Love, Hope Not, etc.) and plenty of songs where she's had the second fewest lines (Boombayah, Whistle, Really, etc.).
