5:30 "oppa" is not really flirty, it's a sign of respect for a slightly older male that you're close with, but it can be flirty if you're saying it in a "cutesy" way to your boyfriend or husband. There is a Korean word called "aegyo" which means "acting cute or flirty", so if a girl is using aegyo and says "oppa" in a cute baby voice than yes, it would be considered flirty.

Rosé is my bias but you’re right Jisoo is the silly one, the class clown. She’s the one I would love to spend time with. She’s so relatable and also she’s always kind towards blinks so it’s impossible to not love her. Oppa or unnie is just like a respectable way to address people older than you. The girls talked about it on Episode 5 of *BLACKPINK 24/365* kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5-qq6qljrR4mZo They had huge bugs there too (ewww). After they had a successful debut they moved into a four-bedroom apartment (they still call it a dorm) in a luxury high-rise near the YG building. Currently they still have that apartment but Jisoo and Jennie live at home (I think), and I believe Lisa and Rosé have their own apartments, Rosé also spends more of her down time with her family in Australia. They still use the dorm for when they have a group project.

When Jennie said the CEO put them into different groups she meant during monthly evaluation they were separated into other groups to see how they would perform with other trainees. They still lived together at the dorms.

yeah, they're all super close and treat each other like family. i feel like those two duos just gets each other so much because of their age (jensoo are 96 and 95 liners) (chaelisa are 97 liners) that's why they're the ones that's being shown that looks like the closest even though they're all close. so basically jensoo are called the "unnie line" because they're both the eldest and chaelisa the "maknae line" because they're the youngest.

I'll comment as you ask questions so I don't forget what you were asking. 1:35 The group was originally supposed to be nine members so there were many more trainees signed. They sign more than they need, then during their trainee period they eliminate the ones who don't meet their training standard. When Jennie said that they would put them together in different groups she didn't mean in their dorms where they lived, she meant that they would put different combinations of girls together in a dance/singing class to see how they performed together.

If you are female : "Eonnie" is a called name for a girl who are older than you "Oppa" is a called name for a guy who are older than you If you are male : "Nunna" is a called name for a girl who are older than you "Hyeong" is a called name for a guy who are older than you But there are also special cases if you want to tease/flirt someone, even if they are younger than you, you can always call them "oppa" if you are a girl, and "nunna" if you are a boy. And if there are 2 people in the room for example, and you are a girl and only want to call one of them, you can add their name in the front of the "oppa". For example, Teddy oppa, like that.

I know you said you want to do the Coachella lives, and that's fine, but if you want my opinion the Tokyo Dome concert is a much better concert. I mean, Coachella was symbolic, first kpop group to perform there and such, a lot of history, and I'm sure the atmosphere there was great, but the audio is very lacking and doesn't really shows the girls abilities fully. For me Tokyo Dome has the best performances on KZbin if you want to see how good they sound and perform live.

The only member living in the blackpink dorm now is Rosé (the apartment seen in this documentary) they used to all live there though. But Jisoo and Lisa moved to another apartment building last year but Lisa recently might have moved to a new place again (maybe because of Love her Doberman lol) while Jennie stays with her mom. The bp dorm will always be there but I think they prefer their own personal space now unless ofcourse they have the same or hectic schedule which they don’t have right now. But it’s been a while since they’ve actually lived in the dorm together.

FYI, the reason why Blackpink's debut is such a big deal in South Korea is bcs theyre under YG entertainment. SM, JYP and YG ent are the BIG 3 company in Korea. Also, the one and only girl group in YG is called 2ne1 (their debut was a massive hit, their song 'I am the best' went viral too) disbanded around 2016, which is also the year blackpink debuted. Imagine the pressure on the girls being the first ever girl group in YG after 7 years. The amount of people in SK looking forward to them as they are from a huge music company and they had to do really well bcs they cant ruin the company's reputation considering how well the previous groups under YG is doing.
