i'm seeing a lot of people here comparing ellen to lisa but y'all have to remember: ellen and lisa are two different people with a different style, the two aren't alike. not to mention that lisa probably had more learning time than ellen in regards to learning the ins and outs of the choreography with the *actual* choreographer. therefore, she had more time to perfect and practice the choreography. ellen learned in a short amount of time and only learned from a video of somebody else doing it, no one was there telling her *how* to do it. i think ellen did a really great job and ofc everyone can have their opinions and preferences. just remember that ellen and lisa are two different people. ellen can't be lisa, and lisa can't be ellen.

Some of the comments below did not pass the vibe check🙄. You can't watch a dance cover and expect the person doing the dance to be identical to the original. It doesn't make sense. Everyone has a different style of dancing, which is why Lisa's dance style is unique on its own. Just cheer for Ellen, and keep the comparisons to yourself❤️.

Now it made sense to me, how choreographers told Lisa is a dance genius. As much as I love Ellen but gotta say Lisa have set the standard too high. Her dancing is in awe. probably an unpopular opinion, but this cover looked a little messy to me - there were some key textures missing and although I am usually very impressed with how fast they upload, this time i think ellen should have practiced a little bit more to capture the small details in the choreo that you see in lisa's version. Overall a decent cover though, just wished it was practiced a bit more!
