In reality he will suffer massive 3rd degree burns and lots of broken bones which definitely can take his life but he won't turn to ashes on the spot.. So he can be fighting for his life But just like you said its penthouse and thanks to the writer nothing is impossible there

But for me, if Logan Lee is still alive in season 3, all of the characters that will be dead, the people will assume that he/she is alive. So i do hope that this wouldn't go overdramatic. I think logan lee shouldn't be alive on season 3.
