I don’t think everyone realizes…. Jennie’s positions aren’t ONLY the main rapper. She’s also the lead vocalist along with Jisoo, so it’s only normal for her to not have rap lines in some songs. Just like Lisa is a sub vocalist and her specialty is dancing and rapping. She said it herself that out of the three vocals are her weakest spot (though she’s still amazing) All of the girls are talented in their own way so we all should just say thank you for that and support them!

I get your point but that's not the issue, since lisa gets the rap parts (in most of the songs) jennie is given a lot of singing part resulting with jisoo getting the least amount of lines. according to the position, rosé (main vocalist) and jennie (main rapper and lead vocalist) should be getting the most amount of lines in their songs, but that's not okay if jennie gets the most amount (or second most) of lines in a song where she doesn't even rap and gets a lot of singing part instead, lisa the rap parts and jisoo less lines than everyone because jennie sings too much. so what people are complaining about is why lisa gets more rap lines than jennie when they could share so jisoo gets more singing lines and maybe lisa too cause I think her tone when she sings is beautiful. also I'm not saying that jennie should stop singing, she's a lead vocalist too and her vocals are really good but yeah hope you get what I mean.

@@Aya-ug4nh it may be because Jisoo's voice doesn't really suit their concept and Jennie mostly has the intro of the song as an unofficial center. If you notice in their title tracks each of them has only 2 verses, sometimes Jennie would even only get 1 verse and just inserts lines from time to time throughout the whole song. But nonetheless, Jisoo has showcased more of her vocals now so it isn't really a problem anymore. The problem before was Jisoo's vocals weren't as highlighted as now because she usually gets the same lines as either Rosé and Jennie so now, even if she is least in the line distribution at least she has a distinctive line of herself.

The problem is that jennie is the main rapper and that she LOVES rapping. In the album she raps like 30 seconds, and she didn’t rap between 2018 and 2020, a period than more than 2 years. I agree that she doesn’t have to take all the rap parts, but YG has to give her properly rap verses in almost all songs! She could give some vocal verses to Jisoo or Lisa, who sings also very well. And it’s normal that she gets the highest amount of lines bc she has 2 vocal positions

It's fun to hear just all the rap line. Jennie's Solo rap lines though should not be included in the count as there were no other members on that song. She was the only one singing so she would get all rap lines. But for fun, can you update this and include Rose's solo songs and Lisa's songs for a new total? :) Or maybe do a new one excluding the solos'.
