Suhyun is an amazing singer. Just floors me every time she belts one out. Her control is incredible and has great range. Simply one of the best Kpop singers right now. And she doesn't get nearly as much attention as others. It's sad. When I hear her tho, nothing else matters.

It's probably her vocal color, it's really basic and not memorable for most people. That's obviously not her fault, but without Rosé in this performance she would probably get more attention. But without Rosé this wouldn't have got that much attention, so i guess hard to tell. For many people Rosé is the best K-Pop vocalist and it depends on personal taste i guess. But singers like Rosé or Yuqi from (G)I-DLE with very unique vocals color are way more interesting to listen to for many people and that's why they get more attention.

For me it is the emotions that are present in Rosé's voice because if you have an extremly fabulous singer with an extremly beautifull voice and no emotions in it will cause any waves for me. To put it simple a good voice like (similar to) Suhyuns without emotions behind it would be nothing for me

For those who have followed BlackPink for a long time, it is no secret that Rosé's voice and style singing is more fit for ballad singing. It is also no secret that Rosé prefers ballads over hip hop. But being hired as the main vocalist of the hip-hop-specialized BlackPink, and an ultimate professional, she would do her best to sing hip hop and very successful at that. For ballads, you needs check out her covers of Halsey's"Eye Closed", John Mayer's " Slow Dancing in a Burning Room", Paramore's "The only Exception", Jason Mraz "Lucky", and BP's own "Gone" (which she co-wrote). Rosé is a natural ballad singer.

The girl in short hair is Lee Su Hyun, she's in the same company as Rose, Su Hyun and her brother are a duet group that debut in 2014 knows as AKMU, so she's basically Rose's senior by 2 years (Blackpink debut at 2016), but she's 2 years younger than Rose. She's very talented, Akmu is very versatile and Su Hyun does a lot of cover on her own KZbin Channel. Please give her love as much as Rose

The guy here is Onew is the leader of the legendary group SHINee (pronounced shiny) once mentioned by Obama :) in his speech. He’s a vocal powerhouse and very versatile. He has performed Opera (without formal training) Nessun Dorma live. He and Rose’ covered Lucky- another beautiful cover on this show. If you want to check out SHINee- their recent album- don’t call me, Atlantis, Japanese release Superstar. For just their vocals- they covered IU’s song your name on her channel. Have you seen Rose's cover of John Mayer's "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room"(on same program). Mayer sent Rosé a PRS Silver Sky electric guitar, in the Roxy Pink color, with a handwritten note that read, "Rosé! I should be thanking YOU! (so thank you.).", and posted "This is gorgeous @ygofficialblink #rosÉ," BTW did you notice she did ALL THAT...NOT noing the words, she was looking at her phone the whole time

Some others said it here before .. check out her cover of exception by paramore, it’s awesome (side note, the 3:05 was a rehearsal, and it’s GREAT) .. and her cover of slow dancing in a burning room my John Mayer .. was so good he went on twitter (he never does) to compliment them had a copy of his guitar made in pink and sent it to her .. This is from a new reality TV show called "The Sea Of Hope" in which celebrities opened a small beach bar/café, they cook and bake all the food and mix the drinks. Rosé was the first guest on the show. Lee suhyun (first singer) sang the harmonies in Sohyang's version last year (remember she was also sang in Day Day) which is how she knew the song and this version is a lot closer to Sohyang's version than to Alicia Keys' version.

Rose and Lee SuHyun who covered your song recently were small children then. A performance by Sohyang (considered Korea's finest vocalist) has helped to re-popularize your music among the younger generation of Korean artists.
