Jennie shutting down the tank from ddu-du ddu-du, Lisa shutting down the truck from boombayah, Jisoo with the umbrella from ddu-du ddu-du and Rosé on Earth from Whistle. Jennie and Lisa's rap parts had similar sets as Playing with fire.

Honestly, this song and MV was such a nice sendoff to their previous eras as they move onto new horizons 💖 ...Not to mention all the savage lines like "It's not a comeback since we never left" and "Keep talking and we shut you down" 😭🔥. Telling haters/doubters off while also paying homage to their music and elevating themselves, love it👍 Oh! And the Doberman you see in the MV with Lisa is actually hers! His name is Love!! Part of the L Family 🥰 The album as a whole was also so nostalgic and fresh for me! The girls came back slaying and I love it!! @@cloudysupreme9859 It isn’t really noticeable, but if you look in their first dance break for the chorus, the signs in the back have the song names written on them. It’s subtle, but it is mentioned. It’s isn’t as openly displayed as Whistle or DDU-DU DDU-DU.

OH MY GOODNESS YES YES YES!!! Sorry I'm late but that's okay (you can thank school for that), dude I can't freaking think or talk right now my jaw was on the floor by the end of it! And all of the call backs to their old MV's especially DDU-DU-DDU-DU and Kill This Love was absolutely amazing, when I heard Jennie and Lisa rapping my jaw dropped but then I heard Jisoo and Rosé rapping and my jaw was on the floor like what the heck they ALL killed this comeback all of their Vocals, Visuals, Rap, Dance, etc was just PHENOMENAL! EXID JUST HAD A COMEBACK FOR THEIR ANNIVERSARY! Hani and the girls are back and will be on some variety shows! Prepare for chaos! Also, You guys should really check out Girls Generation. They were like Twice before Twice was even made. They recently had a comeback for their 15trh anniversary as well which was a whole album and it was GREAT! You'll love it and then go down a GG spiral for weeks because of all their content and how long they've been in the game. Its always refreshing to see older women in kpop too!

the MV is full of references to their other MVs, here's all of them (or at least all the ones i caught): - opening scene of lisa dancing on a deck while rain is poring is a reference to Playing with fire (the burning deck) - the 4 of them in the car could be a reference to whistle, theres also a scene of them in a car but this one could be a stretch. the background in the car scene in shut down is the same as the one in Boombayah when they are riding the motorcycles tho - Jennie on the bedazzled tank with the shopping bags is a reference to her scene in DDU-DU DDU-DU - Lisa with the truck full of bags of money and speakers is from her rap part in Boombayah - Jisoo holding a pink umbrella while its raining cash is a reference to her part in DDU-DU DDU-DU (but the umbrella was like purple or something and it was raining plain water) - Rosé on top of the world is referencing whistle and her in the Lamborghini COULD be referencing the scene where she's driving and crying in Kill this love -Jennies rap part in the black bathtub with a match is a call back to her scene in Playing with fire (but the bathroom used to be all white) - Lisas rap part on the deck with rain falling is another reference to Playing with fire - Lisa holding the Blackpink sword covering her eyes is like the scene in DDU-DU DDU-DU - Jisoo is taking a polaroid picture in front of a still from DDU-DU DDU-DU
