You’ll start to notice how many Easter eggs there are when you watch more M/V’s. It’s insane. They’ve paid homage to all their past hits

@@SeanStaxxMusic so here’s just a few examples that you’ll understand more as you go on through BP’s songs: The first set is from one of their earlier songs called “Playing With Fire”. In that song, that set had actually been set on fire but here, it was used in the rain. The tank was from one of their biggest hits, Ddu-du Ddu-du. And there was A LOT more but it’s easier for you to watch more of their earlier videos and you’ll start to see more yourself. Also, I LOVE your reaction videos! The second I saw this one was up, I got so excited!

He is too new for BP to notice and too shallow to understand Kpop's background. But he's good though. He actually dissect the song's meaning eventhough he's not catch these easter eggs.

it was definitely a flex song that hits harder if you're a fan and know how everyone tries to speak on them/copy them/recreate their success when they're on hiatus. Btw definitely the lyrics aren't metaphorical BUT the cc on the video don't make them justice at all because the Korean lyrics could translate way better and have wordplays. There's a video by Andy and Jas where they break down the Korean if you want. Also the video is a whole reference to their past hit mvs, but upgraded, that's why it seems simpler than usual, they recreated whole scenes but better, and closed the shutters on them to symbolize they're starting a new chapter. Also, it’s like a response to everything that has been said on them, because the sound they usually have on their prereleases or title track, the more grandiose one like in pink venom, has been criticized a lot, antis most of all said that blackpink’s songs always sound the same, and this time they came back with a sampled classical piece and a completely different song structure, it was most likely intentional (btw honestly those who say their songs always sound the same have definitely never heard their bsides because they always bring something new there, but that’s a different matter.)

These people who complain have never heard past the first few lines of any song they hate on them because they can. We have found one channel that was owned by someone in SM. They made it so easy to spot them though because every comment was about how BP girls stole everything from Aespa. People just don't listen or take notice of what they say. Loved you reply though👍👍👍👍

Interesting. I thought the rap part was pretty dope. Is it better than Dudududu in terms of rap. I think this is better because the flow is better, the beat is dope, the rap is longer. I like that the rap is a little longer....Dudududu is a bit short for me. It's dope but it's short. In fact, all of their videos...the rap parts are always a bit short and I thought this one is the longest of them all...but I guess that's because they transition from Jennie to Lisa right away.

I love this one more than Pink Venom, it might be my favorite from them lol The whole album is 🔥 I love the direction they’re going honestly. All the scenes are upgraded versions of their old MVs including their solos, they’re shutting down everything down, including their past selves. Jennie is KILLING me with the last two tracks. This was just a flex song. I love it and they deserve it. The whip it part grows on you, for me anyway. You should check out the album, it’s only 8 tracks. AND the dance performance video is 🔥🔥🔥 It just came out today. This is the first track from them that has been all hip hop/rap. But I can definitely see what you’re saying. It just depends on what you want from them. Check out Whistle or Lovesick Girls 🖤🖤🖤 Thank you for the reaction as always!

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. Blackpink is the 2nd band i checked out after BTS. They are known as the Queens while BTS are known as the Kings. They good friends no matter what some of the fans think. Really good song! This was catchy. Love the boss vibes. Black side is back! Really interesting beat from a famous song/ melody. Love the classical sample used. See lots of past MV references. There was more than 10 throwbacks. Made me recall Yet to Come by BTS. I wonder who got them so mad. Loved my girl Jennies rap. Jisoo's attitude was everything. Loved Rose's parts too. Such a boss. And Lisa was cool as usual. I want to see the dance practice. Love the vibe. That violin sequence is similar to (or a direct translation) of Niccolo Paganini's "La Campanella" (No.2 in B min, Opus 7), written in the early 1800's (1820's or so). Loved how that mix sounded here. Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army💟 Fun fact: The videos begins with the same style as how their debut songs Boombayah M/V started Here's some Easter eggs of the videos: The famous Jennie's tanks - Ddu du M/V Lisa's truck - Boombayah M/V Jisoo's umbrella - Ddu du M/V Rosé driving a lambo (have to mention that she put the seatbelt this time) - kill this love MV Rosé sitting on the globe - whistle MV Jisoo's camera - Ddu du MV Jennie's matches and Lisa's standing on the bridge - playing with fire MV Rosé chandelier - Ddu du MV

looks like lot of reactors only reacting because of either algorithm or just find the music is good, but no nothing about the artist which is why they find this song just a flex song. OMG !!! a lots of easter eggs in this video , for me it's by far the one of best title track cause it refers to all the things they are facing in their real life which they explicity calling out at the same time paying homage to their previous records they set. i wish you would put a score . that way we can actually undersatnd if the song is good or not. personaly i didnt like the song. for me it is 56/100. the insturmental is from the song of nicolo paganini. almost the same thing Ariana did with 7 rings but she incorporate the sound of music song and made it her own. Here they just had the instrumental on repeat. Nothing artistic here. nothing new. the repetitiveness killed the song.
