Yeah, "tiki" refers to tiki torches. If you go to Waikiki (probably the most famous beach in Hawaii), you can see tiki torches everywhere in the evening, including at beachside restaurants. And "kiki" refers to the Korean letters ㅋㅋ, which are pronounced similar to kiki and is the Korean equivalent of "lol".

I think that this does speak to their contract renewals. This game - and there's a new one (The Palace) on Roblox - take a lot of time and money to make, and those game developers expect them to be played for years. Who's going to play a game based on an EX band? I can see this song getting significant, legitimate, air time plays. It's actually just a good song. We noticed that, with Born Pink, they seemed to have a new attitude. Well, the F bombs, Jisoo dating, the embracing of their status in, not just Kpop, but the music industry in general, proves that. They're a mature, veteran group now, and they're not taking any shit anymore. "Ready For Love" and now this show that, even for games, these girls don't make bad songs. I hate quoting Kanye West, but in Power: "Screams from the haters, got a nice ring to it I guess every superhero need his theme music" Another great reaction. Take it easy.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if they already renewed their contracts a long time ago. All this talk that Kpop gossip channels keep doing about the contract expiring in August seems to be complete nonsense. The gossip channels and some K-media writers just assume that the contracts have to expire 7 years after the debut date. If you think about it, it doesn't make any sense. "Debut date" only means the date that their debut songs were released to the public. Nobody at YG ever said that their contracts started on that date.

I really think your right about their progression in their music and as a group. On the look it reminds me of the Brat dolls, when the song released I thought they were going to release a mobile app game based on the look and the name the game.

I have said this before and I will say it again. This OST was Blackpink Throwing down the gauntlet. In the Hip Hop world you have to bring your A game, if you don't aim to be the best you are last. So BP slammed the gauntlet and put the whole Kpop world on notice. "I hope you like #2, because you will never be #1" All the girls said something along those lines, Lisa Hyphenated it with her rap. The audacity of BP to challenge the ENTIRE K-pop community.....😈 This is YG being YG, they aim for a Western audience and in the western world the gloves come off, and you get down and dirty. I love the chutzpah on Blackpink, since listening to their music I compared them to their rivals and BP always hits differently. Their style, their swag, their attitude, their MV all have so much power and color. Its an entirely different vibe than any other Kpop group. They even borrowed Eminem's line, shots fired Bang Bang... I'm just playin' We know you fired first Blackpink 😳😵‍💫

i actually missed having girl groups in the west the one there closet to is aviously the spice girls there was destiny child but that was entirely carried by beyonce. The other things i like is they didnt market toward pre-teens like we seen happen so often in the west and i dont particually listen to rap i am one that cant stand a whole song with that style of music i like having the pop/rap combos that kpop has implimented and espically with how they do rap they got the swag and flow but its clean a big part of the stage presence with that is not just what you say but how you say it a comparision i can look at is megan stallon twerking in the front of a semi truck or how so many female rappers its visually soft porn can be a hinderance to whatever message your trying to say.

I’ve been watching for a while & I reccomend u check out Tvxq next they are a 2nd gen kpop group that debut in 2003 & pioneered for the industry, I reccomend bolero live, rising sun, Tri-angle, love in the ice live, survivor, summer dream, and stay with me tonight, they are legends in Asia to this day yet most reactors don’t know them nowadays, it’s frustrating especially bc they have my favorite vocals out of all of kpop & they have a wide variety of discography, they were a 5 member group till 3 left in 2009 due to them sueing there company sm they are active now as solo or Tvxq or jyj still making good music, but us fans love there music most as 5 bc they sounded unreallll together, please give those vids a look whenever u can🙏🫶
