the dances arent that simple...the reason why it is kinda simple is bc they still have to perform the song. as a result to this, they have strong vocal parts as well as strong rapping parts. in one of their recent interviews, Jennie (the one on the tank) said that they have been working on it at their best and that they do get tired since there is a lot of transitions and chain reacting moves in the choreo. but overall i REALLLYYYY enjoyed this reaction, with all of this said, watch their dance practice. and you'll see.

I think one of the reasons the dances are less intense than past dances is that it is really hard to maintain the energy level in concert as new songs get added to their repertoire. The ladies just do not have the stamina the men have to do concerts with intense dancing. I think the choreographers are giving them a rest for the stage in a sense. This is has been discussed on various Korean idol shows that I have seen. Also discussed is the female idol reality that it's really difficult for them to do these dances when they are menstruating.

Respectfully, nothing I said was sexist, ie. prejudice, stereotyping, or discrimination, typically against women, on the basis of sex. I brought up the scientific physiological reality that is being discussed in Korean culture by adults who are worried about the level of stress these female idol bodies endure. It is a fact that the K-pop male dancers have MORE strength/endurance than the K-pop female dancers, who of course have stamina, and can do all the same moves men can do. I have literally watched hundreds of Korean shows about idols, and there is a real endurance difference. I never said they couldn't do these things because of menstruation as you have insinuated I did. I said menstruation made things difficult for them. Female idols themselves have been brave enough to talk about menstruation difficulties, including exhaustion, and fear of leaking on stage. These are brave women to be telling the very critical Korean public about their realities & struggles. It WOULD be sexist if I said they can't dance as well as the men, or shouldn't dance at all. I did not say they should be restricted from dancing, getting paid as much or more or from getting to wear the best designer clothes on the planet! Of course they should have EVERY opportunity them men have to excel! By choice I have been a stay at home mom for 26 years, I'm the least sexist person on this planet! I discovered K-pop three years ago, and enjoy it so much I want to learn Korean just to enjoy watching K-dramas & Korean news & documentaries and listen to k-pop without captions. Many times, my mother's heart has been filled with joy as I watch these K-pop idols and how skilled and beautiful they are- how they have this amazing opportunity to be leaders and strong women in their culture, to show the younger generation that they can do these amazing things in life too!! When I was a kid in 1977, I remember the parents in my elementary school fighting to let us girls wear shorts or pants to school, because we could only wear skirts. I lived in a time when I was dismissed by my guidance counselor as a pretty face; I could't possibly have a brain and beautiful. My educational choices were decided by a big fat man who dismissed me, because I didn't know any better. That is sexism. Peace~MR

@@m.r.6222 While men tend to be stronger, in general, stamina is not gender dependent. It has less to do with strength or muscle mass then it does with training. Being stronger does not necessarily mean you can run faster or farther. I've seen some body builders who couldn't do a 100 yard dash without collapsing at the end. While men may be stronger, generally speaking, a woman's lighter frame allows them to perform the same actions while expending less energy. If you look at runners' bodies they tend to be less bulky than most other athletes. That is because too much muscle will slow the runner down and seriously impact their endurance. A lighter frame with the right amount of muscle will increase their endurance. If you put 2 dancers with similar training side by side, one male, one female, and have them perform the same dance for the same amount of time, they should both end the dance with similar levels of fatigue. With that being said, repeated and extended physical activity can take it's toll on the human body. The more strenuous the activity, the higher the toll. This is true regardless of gender. Because of this, I applaud any management company that is willing to take this into account when choreographing routines for their performers. It shows that they are actually thinking about the performers and are concerned about their health and well being. It shows that they are not just using them as beasts of burden, so to speak, so that they can just fill their pockets and toss them aside when they wear out. There's more to this but this comment is already getting too long so I'll stop here.

Fyi, girls has more stamina than boys.. And they dont let girl group dance or perform if they had there menstruation... The reason they dance simple steps here cause it is how they interpret the music, you dont have to dance like wild if it will not be proper to the song... Making choreo of the song should be on point, even if you say that one day one of them had menstruation they shouldn't perform or they should cause even they do it knowing one will suffer in pain, that doesnt change the step.. Cause that how they interpret the song.... 🤣😂 ❤️

Those dance moves are not as simple as you may think. It only "looks" simple but they put in many hours just for the dance. Also, they have choreographers who do all the dances and formations for them. You guys have no idea how much time and effort they put into this. In Kpop, you have to pass many auditions and if you get lucky, then you debut as an Idol group or just by yourself. There are Idols that took them more than 10 years just to debut and also their training is really hardcore.
