I think people here don't understand that demos don't have to be full length songs and can be simply just portions of songs as well. So to say the demo is better when it isn't even a full song doesn't make sense. You may like it in these portions but who knows how the demo went to become the whole song. Secondly bp were basically introducing themselves with whistle and boombayah so they needed to keep the kpop flair in their songs and also bcoz their initial target being domestic audience.

The song isn’t explicit (meaning that it won’t tell you the meaning directly) so it has undertones and double meanings. the beginning of the song is her basically saying “i’ll give myself to you as a payday for the work you do” and later in the song she says “lemme give it to you, lemme give you what you want”. also “baby i think you deserve a break, i got what you need...” it’s like fifth harmony’s work. both songs expresses that your reward for working is their body. take EXO’s monster for example. the lyrics go like: “I’ll flip you over, break you down and swallow you up I'll steal you and indulge you I'm gonna mess you up” some people may say “oh because the song is titled monster he’s just targeting her as a prey, like a real monster would” but we all know that there’s double meaning to it. when they say those thing, they’re literally talking about sex and desire and how she makes him go crazy (sexually) that makes him act like a monster. though exo’s song is complete and a tiny bit more explicit. also remember that all we heard from this demo was the intro, the bridge, and the hook. the verses and the post choruses could’ve been WAYYY more dirtier.
