That mess free paw patrol thing really is mess free, the mat is the magic bit, it has something inside that reacts to water, the water is applied using a kind of felt tipped pen which you fill with just plain water and the water is absorbed straight away - I can’t say how much water it will absorb though but my granddaughter used to have a different themed mat using the same principle, great for younger kids - even Gran & Grandad enjoyed using it 😂
