There was lots of codling upto 4lb around rossall pipe ....I used to get upto 30 a tide and on long lines anything upto 40/50 no lies as I used to shrimp that stretch also and there are lots of bass very close in all the way upto marine beach but only cast 25/30yds and even easier around the groins as the bass patrol up and down if you get bites just wait they return on the turn of the tide ....they are around 3 lb to 9lb I used to go down there early morning and only be there 30 mins and take three for breakfast after guys had tried all night...they were casting over them to far....just wade to knee height then cast 25 yes and hold the rod and bang And one thing do not let your lights go on the water and spoke the fish.....
