Such an interesting and informative video and how public spirited to provide the benches. I miss the lovely victorian shelters now hidden behind the Metropole full of winos, one of whom chased after me to repeatedly beg for money! The cost of HS2 is forecast to be £120billion I think and would be better spent on East Coast defenses ... Ho Hum ...

Loads of things are open, especially at weekends. It’s just the small seafront tourist shops that tend to close at this time of year

I remember before the seafront was done in bad weather the waves would go over onto the front

Most things are - the smaller tourist shops on the prom close mid week out of season but it’s half term next week so most will be open
