I can't remember a moment where i did not cried listening to this song. I relate to this song like someone who as lost a big love and was submited to a big treason or abuse, by a boyfriend or some friend, i guess. She then entered in a some kind of depressive state, shackled by those felling she keept seeing what she feard the most and at some point she was able to confront it!. At the beggining she says she's fine with this, BUT there's nothing! she's fine with nothing! Just a void inside her and the depression it brings. In the end she tried to get rid of what tormented her and failed and she cant stay fine with it!! And much possible, she ended her life, accepting she was not fine and the way to get better was death (the meteorite scene) and the end ''i'm fine with this'' With the premisse she actually wants the person who hurt her to move on with is life! Nice! I love this band/song/album. They're from salt lake City Utah, this album is All instrumental until this song. And the album is one entire song divided into 11 songs, I would recommend listening to it, it's self titled "blackshape" it is incredible

The video is fqn terrible. The song is fqn great. Who directed that steamy piece of dog crap anyway? They coulda done so much better w the video. Even the ppl here are confused about whats going on.

i thought it was beautiful. felt like an allegory for domestic abuse and overcoming it and feeling free enough to face whatever comes next. but that’s just me. i went through really severe abuse, so it was a very cathartic and artistic video, as much as the song itself is cathartic and artistic
