Blacksmith twisting wrench from F-clamp

Love that you experimented! I feel like one of those Bessey gear clamps might be a solution to this (but then it isn't cheap anymore, lol)

That would solve the problem, but yea, not cheap and its no better than a normal twisting wrench made from a real wrench! I was wanting the adjusting speed of a clutch based clamp, but the clutch part just doesn't provide enough precision for clamping tightness. Been wanting to try this for awhile, and the clamp challenge was the push I needed, so thanks CLAMP podcast and team for doing the challenge!

Remember that “failures” can be good learning opportunities. I wonder if a Stillson wrench would be a better option.

Oh, I learn alot from failures!!🤣 Still thinking about other possible quick close options... I'll look into the Stillson wrench possibility, thanks!
