I totally agree with you regarding the input jack connections, I had several issues with the cables, and finally, I had to make my own cables, using a combination of 90-degree jacks and normal jacks. There is one thing you have to adapt and it is that the Amped 1 must be placed as the first element on the right, to access all the inputs and pots on the right side of the Amped 1. In the end, I decided to leave the Amped 1 alone and not incorporate it into my pedalboard, so I have the Amped 1 and the pedalboard as two separate components. Now everything works well and it is also quite easy to use.

Thanks for the demo. Big design flaw having those outputs on the right. Cant believe they didnt think of that. I notice the amped 2 and 3 are bigger and have them on the back. Only the amped 1 has them like this.

Thanks for watching! Yeah that was a weird layout decision

The little amp sounds might big! Sounds good too, from here. I have a small Quilter head already but if I needed a compact amp solution, I would definitely consider this.

I wonder aside from this being 100 watts, would the 20 watt Quilter amp pedal sound about the same? I guess you would have to have a gain pedal in front of either.

Thanks for thia video. I own an Amped1 and I'm very happy with it. I usually plays with it at home using headphones. I went to a live small gig, and used it with the XLR and (it was the first time) and I wasn't very satisfied, the sound was thinner and with less power. How do you setup it to get a good sound also from xlr? Thanks
@OfficialPerfectoDeCastro Жыл бұрын
Experiment with the cab software, choose a more midrange focused one. Then ask the sound guy to EQ you flat with lo cut at around 90hz and hi cut at around 10khz

@@OfficialPerfectoDeCastro thanks again!! Ok, I'll follow your suggestions at the next gig. For the moment I muted the room emulation in Blackstar Architect, it has a Mono, Wide or Stereo mode that I think affects a lot the final result. Now even in the headphones the sound is more focused. Thx

I just got this and it is truly amazing but I’m getting a huge hum ground noise coming out of the xlr :(
@OfficialPerfectoDeCastro2 жыл бұрын
Does it still hum even with not other pedals/USB plugged in?
@christiansectas2 жыл бұрын
@@OfficialPerfectoDeCastro So I ended up returning it and getting another one and problem solved, it was definitely a faulty unit, but the issue was with or without pedals, but once I got the fully working everything works like a charm now, last night I did band practice against a full stack Mesa and my AMPED 1 didnt have any issues cutting through, it is truly wonderful!

I appreciate your channel, great info for the working musician. What are your thoughts on the HB Fusion? Are you using stock PU's? I was thinking of getting one to use for gigging, even if I need to change pickups it is more affordable than a charvel and it has a better quality Floyd and SS frets. Thanks.
@OfficialPerfectoDeCastro2 жыл бұрын
Yes, those are stock pickups. Lots of bang for the back for sure. I have a 3 part Gigging with Harley Benton series, here's part 3 kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJCtYn5-Z56SgJI

shame no footswitchable 2 channels, all the sounds possible but you are pretty limited live. it's really only going to provide a clean amp and quite pricey for that i think.
