Super pain in the Arssee to change out the Tube, that is why they cleared therm out and BS stopped making them. Check out the @t no support at all from BS regarding these pedals... also had major issued with the Power Supplies... totally turned me off to BS.

I'm inches from buying myself one of these but I've heard the noisyness of these units is too noticeable. Apart from a noisegate is it possible to do any electronic tweaks to the pedal under the hood? i.e. put an earthwire in somewhere?

That kind of skill is way beyond my level. They can be a little 'hissy' when driven hard but don't tend to push the gain quite that hard and really don't hear too much, well not enough to be a deal breaker. I LOVE the overdrive on this pedal, however I'm using a Line 6 Helix now and sadly my pedal is sitting all alone (with my dozen other pedals).
