I really love how it takes an internet celebrity to get people to step outside the 'norm' of traditional electronic music, like dubstep and dance/house, and listen to a genre that I've loved forever. Not that I'm saying the Bigi is bad for doing this, or that the fans are ignorant. All I'm saying is that it constantly surprises me how little people step outside their comfort zones for new music.

I heard this song on Bigi's video and that started me listening DnB, before I just thought it was only quiet and melodic music, and from this song I found out Black Sun Empire, Noisia, The Upbeats, Mefjus and more :)

Most people's music taste is kinda settled by the time they're 14, but it's mostly unwillingness to open up. Then I also hear people complain about they haven't found anything new they really love in ages but of course that'll happen when you let your taste stagnate.
