Blackswan only called themselves a Global group after it was trendy. Before that they were always hellbent on insisting they were Kpop and marketed themselves (however unsuccessfully) to Korea. XG is the first group who embraced the global group label and went for international fans right off the bat even when it wasn’t popular.

I remember during the selection process, a candidate couldnt make it at that time and only shreya and gabi were to compete but dr decided to debut both of them. They became besties training together for sure so im glad things worked out. Blackswan as a group now is a good chem, the perfect match. It really does take good ppl with the same mindset and respect and determination for the group as a whole to be successful otherwise theyll keep clashing like how it did previously.

i don’t think it was abt her visible weight i think her dancing might’ve been stunted by her weight & they already had a vision to make her a visual. they usually like the visual to have a elegant sharp but calm style of dance like pharita, Irene, wonyoung. she dances a lot better now roll up era rly surprised me gabi’s talents & princess aura. even in bts she has this nonchalant young rich princess aura & i fell for blackswan even more. i was like yea that’s a true visual

@@kai-by7ti She's had more than a year of extra dance practice plus Pilates to strengthen her core muscles. Gabi's dancing improved because of training. Her weight has nothing to do with it.

@@Aniram789 you lose weight in Pilates as well and gabi doesn’t look much slimmer predebut to roll up era so… based on the independent variables that have changed it’s mainly exercise, pilates, and weight along with her dancing improved. so, there is a clear cause & effect. as a dancer of 8 years, i can state that weight loss in dancing is important especially for women who have breasts because control in movement and isolation may be hard along with consistent energy.

@@kai-by7ti I think the weight part is just the toxic message they feed you so you go along with their standards. I honestly have zero faith in the way dance companies talk to their students about weight. Too many girls ending up malnourished or with stunted growth from doing high level dance at a young age. It's a good thing Gabi was an adult already.

Losing weight is not about kg less.. Losing weight makes ur breathing and stamina strong making ur muscles toned and flexible to stretch out during dancing and singing. Gabi has definitely improved through practice but to compete, sustain n hold on long concert hours on stage u hv to prepare tough. That's y Gabi was told to lose weight. Plz keep it in mind DR MUSIC giving max freedom to blackswan which haven't seen in any other K-pop company whr they literally kill idols with very strict diet.
