High school basketball star Nathaniel "Cornbread" Hamilton (Keith Wilkes) is the pride of his urban neighborhood, and he appears destined for big things on the court and in the classroom. But a dare leads to a fatal misunderstanding when Nathaniel is shot dead by police who take him for someone who's just committed a violent crime. As police officers try to protect one of their own, members of the oppressed African-American community do what they must in order to find justice.

@@darkart.customs9920 Thats because they are worse than then, Because the Democrats and social Media and Liberal Media and everyone who has some part of the left in them have made it so. If you lived in the 70's,80's90's you know This day and age was all coerced . Watch the T.v. shows, the movies and speak to the people of them times, We were all starting to come together and ignore Race. The people who pushed Race topics back in the limelight were The Shady Clintons, Bush's,Obama's,Bidens and now the Harris's, Not to mention all the Real Racist of the Democrat parties and their forefathers. Looks deep into the history and you will find the truth all them names i said have ties to the KKK and slavery.

Cornbread Keith Wilkes turned to Jamal Wilkes (UCLA and Lakers) after he converted to Islam. Wow, a young Huggy Bear. Music composed by Donald Byrd, jazz great! Fishburne and other iconic future movie stars. These 70s movies had a good message even being low budget. Shows that we had ongoing issues with those who were to serve and protect.
