When the tolls start on blackwall tunnel the traffic in south east London will be crazy. People will head to Rotherhithe to avoid the tolls!!

And some people will take the bus or train. Its important to drive people away from driving, because its spatially inefficient, and poluting if not electric. If you make the blackwall tunnel paid, some people will decide to take a different route yes, but most people who dont want to pay tolls will use public transport.

@@Voquur the weight limit applies to goods vehicles not private cars. Cars with a gross weight over 2 ton are fine.

@@Ron_TTE some people might but not enough to make a difference. Blackwall is heavily used by commercial traffic and commuters coming from kent. Business's will pass the cost on to the end user and london becomes just that little bit more expensive. Myself personally won't be using blackwall tunnel once the tolls come in so i'll be adding to the problem it will cause

Bus Operator passes only valid on TfL services like Overground , DLR & Underground and Thameslink between London bridge/Elephant&Castle and St Pancras International

That was a lovely short duty 1211 to 2122 through the worst part of the day. I understand you will be taking dead buses from the garage as these new electric buses cannot cope with a full day out on the road. I do not know if your bus was electric on this video, but I don't think so? The days of canteens even during for short time in the day is now gone, even at 1525 in the afternoon?
