I am starting to think the Ceili Band winners of the last few years are doing to the music what Riverdance did to the dance 24 years ago. This is exquisite musical brilliance combined with showmanship (showwomanship? showpersonship?), synchronisation and downright good looks! Wonderful young people - the musical tradition is surely safe in your hands - bless you all! Keep it going - you are fantastic.

I prefer small 4 to 6 piece bands with no fiddles myself. A lot of ceili is.much the same now.
