Haha, yep, Rockwell's dad is Berry Gordy, who was then president of Motown Records. To a lesser degree, it reminds me of Michael McDonald, who boosted the careers of Christopher Cross and Kenny Loggins when he sang with them-- although they both did well on their own. But the Doobie Brothers lagged after McDonald did so, much like the Jackson 5 couldn't continue as strong without MJ.

I've heard a LOT of music mashups over the years. Many have sounded "really good", and a few have even been so good that you wonder if the songs could have unknowingly been recorded so that they could be combined. And, then, you get those rare gems...like this one...where they sound so perfect together, that you could actually imagine it having been recorded that way. The tonality of Ozzy's & Michael's voices are so perfectly matched. And, as for the instrumental sections, those, too, have a perfectly-meshed tonality. 👍👍
