Yes, but since you use whirlwind twice, you can do BW shenanigans and have your field full of birdies, go into Aprrentice Witchling/Decode Talker (since Needlefiber isn't dark), go into Nothung with the materials you have left, then use a third summon, let's say Blizzard and have two more monsters available "for free!". Search Orochi, summon it, go into Hawk Joe, resummon Nothung, use it to summon Crystal wing with Blizzard or the fucking towers if you have what needed for it! God bless you Konami! Edit : You can't go into Crystal Wing cause it's wind but you can go into Beelze then into Hot Red with Orochi. Jesus Christ.

With one Simoom and 1 other Blackwing on the hand is literally Full Armored Master searching Auster with Simoom summon and summon Auster, and if the rest of your hand are others like Gale, Kris, Bora or Harmattan you can possibly leave Apprentice Witchling/Decode Talker, then summon FAM, Allure or Darkness is the Foolish Burial for Auster effect. Ahhh cute possibilities~~

Use Simoom to summon itself, use the Black Whirlwind it activated to search Auster, summon Auster to get back the monster banished for Simoom, synchro summon into Full Armor Master, and then if you feel like it, use Auster's GY effect to wedge the entire field. _"Synergy"_

Also according to rulings, Simoom's Normal summon effect doesn't count as the regular Normal summon. So you can normal summon the BlackWing monster you searched with BlackWhirlwind.

Summoning Full armored master won't be unreasonable in non-blackwing decks once we get needlefiber, since steam the cloak is quite splashable at that point. You could also synchro-climb using something like a zephyros, in something like a dark synchro deck, into a level 5 or 7 assault blackwing to make that card into a blackwing tuner. Then go into full armored master from there. It's just pretty funny to see something unaffected by card effects that can potentially be made in any deck.

The dark restriction kind of ruins it a little for me, needlefiber/crystal wing are gone, which ate very strong cards you can pump out in bwings, with the bwing searcher ur end board will probably be dark link plus bwing synchro which is okay but its a sucky restriction and making needlefiber results in a better board. Its not bad, im just not sure on the ratio hrmm. I hope that we get a bwong link that is my biggest support a link two which works woth the deck that is my biggest hope

You could play the Lv. 10 alongside say, Topologic Bomber Dragon. Especially if your opponent decides to summon a bunch of shit and you just laugh in their face as you flip "Back to the Front" or Call of the Haunted to revive a monster. Since the Lv. 10 BW Synchro's effect also protects it from YOUR card effects, it won't get Full Overlap'd into oblivion, so you can swing for 6000 damage next turn.

Finally, a good boss monster for Blackwings! Don't misunderstand me, Raikiri, Hawk Joe and Chidori are pretty good but they don't really feel like true boss monsters. Also, the other 2 cards are obviously good. One of them solves the problem Blackwings had for a long time, and that is Whirlwind not being searchable, while the other is a Tuner with a good effect. Also the Whirlwind searcher is itself quite easily searchable so there's no problem with Whirlwind being send to the GY during the end phrase. Now we can safely say that Blackwings don't need support anymore.(but they probably will still recieve some from time to time)
