When I got out things was great then he thought he was going to prison but by the grace of god an the lawyer knew what he was talking about so thanks to certain laws in Alabama an never been in trouble in that county he didn’t have to go to prison he pushed me away at that time an I didn’t know I stuck by him an prayed an prayed because he don’t deserve to go to prison an then for ya past to be held against u, a lot don’t realize how much mistakes you make when you young can an will affect the rest of your life. Especially being a convicted felon. But now I’m pregnant an even tho I stuck by him through so much an was ready to die for him ready to go to prison for him bc I knew I wouldn’t get the time he would. Some said we was Bonnie and Clyde of the 20th century. He the male version of me an im the female version of him. Now he gone just change up on me I just lost my best friend my only friend an then find out the next day after my best friend died I found out I was pregnant got fired from my job bc I had a dr appointment an was only gonna have to leave work for like 30 mins an the place wasn’t but 10 mins down the road. So he wait till I’m broke no money nothing an wanna accuse me of lying an this ain’t his baby. When naw I wouldn’t play around like that if I had any doubts not to mention I know the pain it was said this girl was pregnant with his baby that was a long 8 months an the baby came out white so it couldn’t been his. An now I’m like his family been my family an I’ve been there through loosing people him loosing people his mother friends an same with me but leave me after my best fiend died an if he wouldn’t never push me away I prolly wouldn’t been as close as I was to her which I’m glad we got close lord knows I wish I could laugh an talk with her one more time an tell her how much she truly mean we to busy trying to be hard an not show emotion an then you loose someone out of no where it hit different than knowing when someone sick an only got so long to live. But last night I was really going through it an needed my best friend but she gone an he was all I had other than his child I’m carrying. So I hear this song last night an it spoke to me like god made sure I herd that song at that moment. An for me to get someone else to understand why it was so hard for me to just say fuck it I’m done I don’t do anything right in his eyes he act like he don’t want me an I ain’t even big I’m 3 months pregnant an the time frame I got pregnant me an him was so happy the best we ever been. An now literally a month on the day he gone leave me an his baby make a month my best friend been gone then bc other people wanna be messy an heartless they ain’t tell none of us who really was her family when her service was not even her man.which was my bf brother. An he has cancer an giving up now. Ima still go check on my brother in law he gave me a place to stay when I got out of prison with no hesitation. I can’t forget who been there for me but sometimes when those people do you wrong an it’s like the more you try to do better the more they try to hold you back pretty much. An then I know he cheated an lied an I stayed faithful for a very long time till we broke up for about two weeks all bc he assume something when I was only trying to get to him. But I know god got me an he gave me this baby because he knew this baby would keep me going. An the devil hasn’t done nothing but just keep messing with me. But ima stay listening to this type of music an it only helps me open my eyes more. Sober eyes at that. Their isn’t no love in the streets some may be loyal but the ones you least expect to be disrespectful or disloyal they the main ones who just a snake around you. An once you get the tunnel vision an focus on yourself things be so much better. Only you can chance your life an you don’t need someone to help you do that. Yes it’s easier to have someone to want to build an do better an both have nice things but in all honesty I knew there was never a future for us. But I still stuck by him till now. Now I just gotta remove myself so I can do right for my baby that I was told I did this to myself lol an ya think a man who is 62 wouldn’t say some sh!t like that. I came across a funny clip of this guy falling down on stage a couple of times - whether on purpose or not idk - and took a chance and checked him out. Listened to a few tracks, and this one really stood out to me. I can tell this one came from the heart. As an old head in hop hop I really hope more of these younger and newer artists can come with more of this heartfelt and soulful stuff and less of that pill poppin drinking lean crap.
