It looks like it has pyro compensation mix programmed into the gyro like the nano cp s2.

Well, it is a fixed pitch anyway, though the expert mode literally has everything a CP would have besides negative pitch and the ability to hold an inverted hover. And yes. The pyro is just as clean in expert mode as the other modes so yes, I would say is does have that Pyro compensation that the Nano s2 has.

I crashed it for my first time. Is there a way to stop the spinning or yaw motion that's out of control? Can I get replacement parts for it?
@prycenewberg39763 жыл бұрын
You absolutely can get replacement parts. I don't know why yours can't maintain its heading, or I could give you a better answer. My first instinct would be to check the tail rotor for a crack. If there's a small crack in the hub of the tail rotor (the blade itself, not the motor), that will cause it to spin on the shaft and stop it from providing yaw control. You can glue it in place as a temporary solution, but you really should replace it if that's the case. I would also check the connectors for the tail motor, because if those are loose, it won't be getting a steady signal which again could lead to loss of yaw stability. You really should check out the RCGroups and HeliFreak forums. They can give you all the support you'll need.

have you noticed they all seem to lean to the right in flight? Cat in the box; LOL. nice video.
@sdssteward4 жыл бұрын
Haven't really had a problem with that. I think that type of thing is a matter of letting the gyro calibrate on a good flat surface. Which sometimes is hard to do because we can't always tell. We could be on a slight incline and not realize it - but the gyro does. So....I dunno. 🤷♂️ When are you going to be at Cane Ridge again?

Most of these types of helis lean right slightly.
@prycenewberg39763 жыл бұрын
Helis tend to lean to the right because the tail rotor pushes the heli to the left. The right tilt is simply compensation.

No spare blades included?

What other fixed pitch helicopters do you know of or recommend?
@sdssteward3 жыл бұрын
At the moment, this is the only FP I would recommend.

@@sdssteward I just bought it and am brand new at RC flight but did a lot of research on the subject. I also fly combat sims and arcades. I am waiting for my radio. I was just trying to find something else too that's collective pitch. I would like to find a dual axis rotor if it would ever exist or a 4 blade chopper that's fixed pitch.
@sdssteward3 жыл бұрын
@@larsulrich3356 I would go for the Blade Nano for your first Collective Pitch.
@larsulrich33563 жыл бұрын
@@sdssteward Ok thank you. I will eventually try that out as well. I wanted to try some of the crazy helo stuff lol. I wished I could find more radios with stick mode 3. I am a southpaw.

Did you set this up with ACRO or HELICOPTER?
@sdssteward3 жыл бұрын
I did ACRO. For a FP heli, the helicopter mode is mostly useless because there is no pitch curve. However, I've thought about going back and changing to the heli setting just so I have throttle hold. I'm in the habit of using throttle hold since I fly CP helis and it's a good habit I don't want to get out of. But yeah, you really can use either setting for it. The heli setting just has two additional functions is all, one being the pitch curve (which you won't use) and the other being throttle hold, which anyone serious about RC helis should want to use.
