The Bloodpack were highly trained elite vampire soldiers but no match for Blade. Individually or even as a team. Snowman would've given Blade a tough fight in a sword fight. Reinhardt was just a cocky, white supremacist vampire out of his league. Ironically Reinhardt despised Blade the most and wanted to kill Blade, but Reinhardt was in on the reaper experiment.

Right. Snowman was the only one member who would hold his own, give Blade a worthy fight or a challenge in one on one martial arts swordsmanship. It'd be an evenly matched, competitive, two way martial arts sword duel and near stalemate/draw. Though Blade would've eventually won or simply ashed Snowman with a silver stake to the heart or a gunshot to the head or heart if he couldn't outmatch him in swordsmanship fully. The other Bloodpack vampire soldiers were highly trained and skilled, formidable and capable hand to hand combatants and expert mercenary killers against your average vampires or humans but no match versus Blade individually or as a team against Blade himself alone head on. 😂

He was criminally underutilized in this film. Tony Curran is a great actor, and really has presence. He could do menace, but also a lot of emotion and drama without much dialogue - he could have been a "noble" member that Blade admired somewhat despite himself, a vampire that disliked the modern degradation (which showed in his only real dialogue at the start of the club scene) and kind of admitted that Blade had a point. "It's a great pity that we weren't on the same side earlier Blade, most of them (indicating the regular vampires) do deserve your sword…". "I could see myself standing besides you, purifying the degeneration we've allowed ourselves to become". He could even fall saving Blade, giving Blade a moral pause. Having him fall during the sewer battle would have been better, perhaps even triggering the bomb after getting infected "I die pure" / "I die true to myself". [And even giving Blade a cryptic warning of the coming betrayal?] [And have you seen him as Van Gogh in Doctor Who…, he can _act]_

Despite being in on the reaper experiment Reinhardt disobeyed Damaskinos's orders to bring Blade back alive to use his blood to create the perfect day walkers because of not only Reinhardt's passionate hatred of Blade because of Blade's skin and Reinhardt's skinhead background but Blade owning him repeatedly. That made Reinhardt bitter enough to try and kill Blade and get him killed against the overlord's orders. Reinhardt may have been a very capable and skilled fighter and elite soldier against your average or lesser vampire or humans in hand to hand combat, same for Chupa and the rest, but a joke compared to the Daywalker and no match.

Honestly the Bloodpack, on their own individually or as a team aside from Blade in opposition to their team, were the Vampire Nation's highly trained elite vampire special forces militia team unit of pureblood vampire warriors, soldiers and mercenaries/pro assassins for a reason and highly skilled, formidable fighters in combat or warfare against any average or weaker vampire or humans but a joke compared to Blade. Except Snowman. Reinhardt just underestimated Blade and was an outright dumbass pure and simple. Blade effortlessly and flawlessly folded Reinhardt in two in front of his own team after Reinhardt's racist crack/insult to challenge Blade within 2 seconds, outsmarted and embarrassed him again inside the vampire nightclub when Reinhardt aimed his gun's laser sighting at Blade across the room, only for Chupa to point out Blade had his sights on Reinhardt already and again in the sewers when Reinhardt tried to get Blade eaten and killed by the Reapers by deliberately failing to warn Blade the bomb lever on the pack UV grenades was jammed. But yet again Blade unstuck the lever to detonate the UV grenades and killed all of the Reapers except Nomak. Reinhardt just couldn't take a fucking hint. Lmfao

Dieter Reinhardt was an Austrian pureblood white supremacist vampire that despised Blade the most of all the Bloodpack members A. Because Blade was a black vampire hunter and hybrid/half-breed vampire and part mortal crossover and Reinhardt being a neo-nazi skinhead/white supremacist vampire and B. Blade humiliating Reinhardt repeatedly throughout the movie. Reinhardt was the leader of the Bloodpack, secondary leader and second in command under Nyssa as Damaskinos's daughter, Reinhardt was also Damaskinos's henchman aside from all of the Vampire overlord's armed guards and soldiers that were all human familiars, as well as Karel Kounen, the corrupt lawyer, Damaskinos's right hand man/second in command and chief familiar and Scud the traitor from Blade's team. And Reinhardt was in on the whole Reaper experiment started with Damaskinos's biologically engineered creation of his own son, Nomak, as patient zero. Reinhardt disobeyed Damaskinos's orders to bring Blade back alive so that the vampires could dissect Blade alive, harvest his blood and use Blade's blood as missing key to creating the perfect breed of Daywalker vampires by repeatedly attempting to kill the or get Blade killed to even the score with the Daywalker for embarrassing Reinhardt repeatedly. Reinhardt, no doubt, had the other vampire soldiers in the Bloodpack survived to uncover the truth, would've betrayed and helped Damaskinos's guards and soldiers/familiars kill them if they survived and turned on Damaskinos for his betrayal, heartless indifferent actions towards their entire team including his own daughter, creating the Reaper virus and Nomak from his own flesh and DNA to be patient zero for the Reaper experiment etc. Reinhardt was a true piece of shit vampire and main type of vampire Blade definitely needed to erase from existence.
