Just a PSA for folks who do at one point end up with their VT Necklace. Upgrade it to Stage 3 and leave it like that for a while. The materials cost for that thing is beyond unreasonable for the bonuses you gain. Going from Stage 3 to 4 costs 400 moonstone crystals, 20 Transformation Stones, 4 Premium Transformation Stones, and 25 HQ Wings for just +35 Elemental Damage +1 Attack Power and only +51 Critical. Until they balance the cost for the necklace, it is the absolute last thing you want to upgrade. I'd say your time and materials is better used to get your next tier bracelet from Circle of Sundering and Sandstorm Temple at this time.

The quest name was "Dead refuse to die". Quest you mentioned wants you to kill the weekly 12-man bosses (DKV, Fallen aransu etc..)

I don't agree on keeping the draken belt and the neck not upgraded, it shouldn't be a priority either but when you have maxed out the important stuff I do recommend upgrading neck and belt because at stage 10 you can salvage them and get a crux wich is an Item that gives you the 1st breakthrough of the hellion acc for free

Question. You kinda skipped the hellion ring and ear ring and necklace. How do they scale compared to bt stuff. I read for certain classes they r better for focus heavy classes than BT's crit. Like I'm a shadow Gunner and I get tired if reloading every sec once I proc fast shooting, and with BNS input lag another sec or so to reload then back to empty reload again. Thanks

Ok so I followed the first part, used cores and peaches got belt and necklace just to find out you can't upgrade your necklace. Supposedly they took it out. It would be really nice if u update ur info because I wasted my time grinding peaches and all my cores on non upgradable items.

I got it, just to find out I need a refined bracelet to open it 😥 this game is not noob friendly at all. People try to do a good thing and make guides, and this dumb games changes everything around each patch. The old days it was stable the only thing that changed was new content or events. How is elemental necklace is in any way worse than oath necklace at any stage? that 33 ap(23+10 set bonus) you lose is the most meaningless thing ever compared to straight 10 to 15% elemental damage bonus from elemental neck. Elemental necklace instantly outvalues the oath on drop.

TL;DR - Crit Damage doesn't get counteracted by the elemental effect until stages 4+ Switching from Oath to elemental is a loss of ~15% crit damage, 1% crit rate, 33 AP and 10,000 HP, in exchange for 10% elemental damage boost (piercing is neglected because we assume you reach the required amount, otherwise that is also against the elemental. Average player at this point of the game will be criting around 70% after all buffs and items are applied (soul, BT ring, class skills, weapon procs), on average. 70% of 15% is 10.5% effective dps increase on oath from crit damage, over the 10% from elemental. This does not account for the additional crit rate or AP. Assume 1100 base AP. The Oath user will have 3% more AP than the elemental user, be doing 10.5% more effective dps (assuming a below average crit rate of 70%) - Math works out to ~3.5% better using oath 10 over elemental 1 (without the effects) Including effects, elemental gains 5 AP, and 300 crit damage. Oath gains 20 AP. continuing with 1100 AP base, difference is now 4.1% AP in favor of oath. 300 crit damage equates to 7.5% back to the elemental (50%) meaning the averaged DPS increase for oath is now much smaller - 5.25%. Summing these means the Oath has a 9.35% effective increase compared to the 10% from the elemental damage increase, meaning when the effects are in play, the elemental necklace will do 0.65% more DPS. You would need ~80% uptime on the elemental necklace for the elemental necklace to be better. At stage 4 however, the effect on the elemental, in addition to the increased elemental damage pushing closer to 10.5% increase, closes the gap, and without typing all the math again (just plug in the different numbers) the effective bonus on the oath side is 8.5%, 10.5% on elemental, and we see a 2% higher dps increase when the neck is active. This means elemental neck only needs ~60% uptime to be better at stage 4, which in practice, is highly likely. Stage 7 is roughly 50% uptime Stage 10 is around 40%.

Actually is a translation mistake from one of the npcs in the cantine at Poharan dg it should say "is the captain a man or a woman?" They are talking about one of the sub bosses that transform into a woman during the fight.

As always I have to ask... why tf would you go to CB to farm for first accessories... if you do Q know thine enemy 2 (you ask for carry) you get free 250 draken cores and at that point u prob. have 50 spare anyway so you just buy all three leg. for 100 cores each.... u dont even need achiev.

onoSVK because you can buy them all 3 accessories without peaches in Zaiwei's trader for 300 draken cores... Peaches are useful to keep for the mystic and soul badges
