The ornaments drops has been reduced drastically.I can confirm because I usually farm those .They are doing this because limiting the in game resources make players to buy the ornaments from their store .Don't forget the various materials are now in store due to the bundles with chocolate hearts.They are really forcing ppls to go P2W.

they might put a ornament bundle in the store but u can only buy it 1 time only ONCE so that has nothing to do with why they limit drop rate

The pay for HO will come from the trove. That's where they will sell them.

I noticed that too since last patch. One thing you have to note tho is that the materials in F10 right now like Moonstones and Radiant Energy can only be bought once per account, which is totally okay.

I've noticed they dropped less since sacred oil came around. I was getting like 2-4 a day now i'm seeing like one and the bid is 15g+ instantly. Next trove 10 ornament bundle.

As a new player I feel blocked by these nerfs, not gonna do daily (which btw would be just lair yeti and prolly necro at low ap) for 20 days to get 1 weapon upgrade (purple) Edit: a new law is gonna be passed in China in which game publishers will be forced to post drop rates, actual % for rng boxes at least, which include dynamic chests and quest reward chests as well.

That will ruin most publishers and their scheming. When people see some 5-20% drop rate for stuff that you need 50 of in a dungeon that takes anywhere between 25 and 50 min, they're simply not gonna do it. It would be easier to just be a jew, play the market and get them from there.

My business brain tells me that this will be catastrophic for the short term cash ins, but on the other hand, it will totally secure company's reputation and likability in the long term, probably instigating people to stick around (specifically in the MMO world where every corporation out there is preying for your wallet in one way or another). My gamer brain tells me that this would be the most fair way to go about things. The less I'm lied to, the more I'm willing to not trash their reputation. When they have their drop rates obscured, they have the benefit of shaping your experience however they see fit, possibly pushing you into impossibilities that would make you open the bank account to them. But when we have firm grasp on what we are getting for our time, and it's sorely lacking, they'll have to cater. And I'm certain they do not want to be strong armed into catering to us. This will be interesting. We should opt in for such a law in NA and EU.

Last thing, mysterious crystals are about 80g each to currency convert, you need 30 for TIER 1 GEM, You add that cost up and add in HO, MS and whatever else it req's

I thought it was only me that notice the low drop. I used to farm Yeti and usually got 1 per 2 runs. But now 5 runs is lucky enough to see 1 drop

Yea. I haven't farmed 4man yeti or lair in a while but the times I did do it I noticed nothing besides stingers or the weapon dropped. Didn't even see radiant energy and I seen that as well as ornaments drop often before the big update happened. Only really done DT recently and seen it there more now.

I dont remember the exact date but i confirm that for myself as well, was farming ornaments in 4 member lair,yeti, nexus and gloom duo with a friend, drop rate was like atleast %50 yeti lair and %100 for gloom, and then suddenly one night we couldnt drop more than 3 ornaments out of something like 8-9 yeti and 6-7 lair runs, then we went for gloom droped 1 and called it a day and seems like we can only make 2 ornaments for each of us since that night out of 3-4 hours farm

Interesting. Maybe I've always been unlucky, but I have never found either of these dungeons (4man Yeti or Lair) to drop Honorary Ornaments at a rate that I would even remotely consider consistent. I'm poor as fuck in game, you see. If these mats dropped consistently, I would have farmed in F8 for auction gold. At best, I would get an ornament maybe 50% of the time from a 4man Asura or Gloom run, but only rarely from Lair or Yeti. I don't mean imply that you're wrong or anything of the sort, but my 4man experience has been radically different from your own. With that said, the price of Ornaments on the market has skyrocketed since the Skybreak announcement. Whether this is because of a nerfed Ornament drop rate or people are gouging prices for whales I don't know. People seem to echo your sentiment, so perhaps it was nerfed. But I've honestly never had them drop consistently enough to farm. On the flip side, I have noticed that Radiant Energy drops have plummeted. They weren't exactly common, either, but I've only seen one of those in two weeks. Again, it could just be my shitty luck. I dunno man.

I totally agree. I did the last 40 runs of my 100 yeti runs for 7ap, maybe a month or so ago on my alt and almost every run i saw ornament or radiant energy. Now whenever I go I just see stingers/weapon bs.... theyre such liars !

Adolf Hitler toi is giving HO at a 50% rate, however you only get 2 boxes a day and mine are floor 51 plus, so 1 extra HO a day isn't anything to write home about.

infernal MED a lot of the dislikes are because people dislike me, not what I'm saying. I am a Blood Dragon and have killed over 15,000 enemy players in game so far, so a lot of the dislikes are from that.

6 Naryu Foundry Runs, 4man, 4ornaments, no anything else. Took about 3hours, hardest dungeon na, four man, takes 30min 6man max gear so its a long dungeon already, so longest dungeon basically for about 4gold each, 4man, 45min about a clear. Just let that sink in. 90% of the community can't even 6man it gear wise, and 75% of those geared can't even do it cause it's too hard, add in 4man, and give us that much, 20g or 1orna each for 4manning THAT.? The only reasom those orna dropped is because in cit/deso/nf it's guranteed to drop at least 1, which is nearly ALL it dropped.

Dude, you just gotta run NF4 (Naryu Foundry 4 men) Guaranteed 2 HO each run! I think DT4 (Desolated Tomb 4 men) and EC4 (Ebonsdrake Citadel 4 men) drop 1 HO too! BTW, they weren't meant to be gotten easily so don't expect get into low tier dungeons and get them right away.

why greedy? just run desolate tomb 6man or 4man you will get 1ornament or stone of wisdom for sure(there are even bundles with 3 or more). you simply dont need Ornaments before thats why. well I admit that the current trove event is frustrating if you See Players that were a week ago 200ap under you (currently 795ap) over you in 1 fucking day and a lot of money but hey it's a free2play game and These cashers alow us to enjoy the game for free.

go farm foundry, yeti is a joke of a dungeon at your gear, and you should know that. you don't need that many ornaments at low levels, so drop rate is lower. go farm an actual dungeon like foundry, EC, or DT . ornaments are guaranteed

It was only recently that these dungeons got nerfed for their HO drop rate. It does have to do with the trove. Take the conversation I had with a player where he asked me if he should spend $100 on the trove and if that would get him more value than if he had just bought gold from gold sellers for $100. NCsoft knows this is something players consider. So how do you add more value to the trove? you inflate the value of the items it drops.

I'm sorry but to me an honorary ornament is not something that should be easy peasy to get u shouldn't be able to run a 5 minute or less dungeon and get a ornament everytime. I don't care if its 4 man those 2 dungeons are basicly out of the picture and this is ncsofts way of telling us as players to move on because the content is only gonna get harder if u wanna farm ornaments find a friend 2 man ebondrake citadel should be no problem with ur gear. and I'm sorry but if I could right now go run yeti or lair and get an ornament every run I would feel like I'm cheating that's so much free gold. shadow14777 those are level 50 dungeons. When you do those dungeons you have to do them in 4 man or 6 man, you end up only saving 1/4th or 1/6th the market price which at 20 gold each is over priced. I have videos of me doing 6 hours of foundry runs, however that's not a valid way to farm HOs. Foundry 6 man at best drops 2 HOs and most of the time only 1. Split that between 6 people and the 20-30 minute run time... Yea that's not effective.
