Seems like the bosses are based on the Chinese Four Gods or Four Symbols. The Azure Dragon, The Vermillion Bird, The Black Tortoise, and The White Tiger.

secret boss - pogo with scarlett whip and most of her phase 1 attacks will miss. Use lux abilities while pogoing and phase one isn't too bad. Phase 2 use lux abilities and keep moving so platforms don't get you, phase 3 is easy.

There is one more secret boss, unlocked after you get all the jigsaw pieces I just beat it and it is harder than every other boss combined

it's not even a secret you go near a 56 lock door during the story, so obviously you need 56 to unlock it.

@ get 30 medkits, get the red star wars sword, double jump and hit down. phase 2 is easier, phase 3 just use evade for some seconds it's a trash boss and poorly done but it is doable.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a Nintendo Switch yet to play Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, but the game looks really fun! Hopefully, I’ll get a chance to try it someday)
