This helicopter is almost indestructible and very solid all blade helis have safe stability modes so this is also very easy to fly in stability mode.i rec you upgraded your nx6 for a radio with at least 8ch otherwise you're limited with the fusion 360 with assignments for safe

I would also get an 8 channel radio which makes it easier to set up the bigger smart helis

How do you set up SAFE modes? Switch, etc ? Manual only talks about flight modes Normal, Stunt1, Stunt 2. I have NX6.

In the forward programming menu in the radio

With the nx6 it will be weird to set up as it won't allow you to activate safe in different flight modes

I asked HH if a 8ch Tx would help and I got the following reply. It’s very disappointing that this topic is not well covered in the manual. SAFE is married to the actual flight modes of the helicopter. With the transmitter set up properly it works as follows: Normal Mode: SAFE Stability (Beginner) Stunt 1: No SAFE, medium head speed, medium cyclic response (Intermediate) Stunt 2: No SAFE, high head speed, high cyclic response (3D, or Advanced) There is not necessarily a SAFE on/off switch as with the airplanes that have SAFE. On helicopters there is the flight mode switch and Safe stability is built into the Normal or Beginner flight mode.

I have a question,I have the torq servos,I don’t know what pulse setting to go with?

333hz also u can not use the torq tail servo since the flb is locked to 333 hz for all servos of you are using the flb that comes with the bnd fusion 360 smart version u can use a cyclic servo for the tail tho is faster and has more torque than the stock tail servo

Will stock ESC work with usual non-smart LiPo battery? I saw the connector have some extra pin in between, so i wonder if ESC will work without that, or i have to replace ESC too?
