I'd like to say that it wasn't misogynists that made it hard to crap on the new Ghostbusters, it was literally everyone else saying "Everyone that has an issue with the new Ghostbusters is sexist!" which thankfully blew up in Sony's face.

1:11:15 - Regarding Selena - Jennifer Lopez plays a Mexican singer not Spanish and she was shot by her Fan-club manager. Not her actual manager (which was her father IIRC ). The fan-club manager was embezzling money and when Selena went to confront her, the fan club manager shot her. It's a damn shame, the lass was just about to cross over into the mainstream and would have been the mexican equivalent of Shakira or something. The film's pretty good and it's a decent performance from a pre-diva Jennifer Lopez.

In defense of how Rebels handled Thrawn so far, it's not like they made him ineffective. Rebels Season 3 spoilers! Yeah they gave him that whole period of him slowly building a plan and figuring out how the rebel leaders think, and then they paid that off with him utterly crushing them in the final battle. The only reason that those two rebel cells weren't completely eliminated was because Thrawn was ordered to take them alive, and because one of the captains under his command refused to stick to the plan. To me they did a good job of making it clear that he wasn't all talk

The DCEU films overall are more cerebral than other superhero movies. Man of Steel- like Wonder Woman- is amazingly brilliant. While the studio butchered Theatrical Version of BVS was undoubtedly a hot mess- the Ultimate Edition is nothing short of a cinematic masterpiece. And while Suicide Squad isn’t as philosophical or layered as the others- it’s absolutely a fun popcorn movie. .
@ghostparker19877 жыл бұрын
bobhu simem Lol apparently there is No DCEU says Warner Bros.
@luminaorchis43767 жыл бұрын
Robert Parker Yes- the shared universe isn’t officially titled the DCEU. I just referred to it as such until they reveal its official title. Most fans refer to it unofficially as the “Justice League Universe” which is pretty catchy. .
@thebatman88157 жыл бұрын
Even though I enjoy the DCEU as a whole, I'm going to have to disagree with you. You're talking about these movies like they're Stanley Kubrick films when they are just fun action movies that are only meant to be enjoyed at face value. Wonder Woman was decent for a superhero movie but as an actual film it was just mediocre. Man of Steel is extremely entertaining and re-watchable, but again does not have any deeper themes or messages and does not provide a commentary on anything of substance. Suicide Squad was just plain awful, ruining most of the characters and having a horrible plot and villain. Perhaps the only DCEU movie as of yet that has tried to have a deeper meaning has been BvS, and while I do agree that the ultimate edition was better than the theatrical version, it was still lackluster.
