Bought folder #005 at Blade. It's a Ti framelock. Butter smooth. Have knives from many customer/production makers...BHK has a really cool culture and approach.

I almost had an opportunity to anodize one of those folders for them before they took them to blade. Really wish I could've done it, would have been a ton of fun to work with.

I've got an old long trail from back when he and LT were together and a Woodsman Pro from Battle Horse. That WP is a tank. Check out their monthly specials. In my opinion the best knives in terms of quality and affordability.

I like that camp ax, but not in D2. I'd rather see it in A2.

R Currey Yes, I agree. I just said A2 because last I seen, it's close to the same price as D2 and I knew you could it get it in the sizes needed for a camp ax and while S7 is even better, I've only seen it in round stock, but then again I haven't look too hard either. This was way back in the 80's but a seen a custom knife chip out when it got cold outside in northern Wisconsin. I had and still have a big custom made chopper out A2 and was using it in the same conditions, on the same day and nothing happened. I've just been turned off to D2 ever since in a chopper role unless it was a skinning type knife or slicer as it did hold an edge well. Who knows about that heat treating then too. Maybe I'm holding things against D2 that aren't true, but some things are hard to forget and get over.

I'm not judging. He doesn't seem very knowledgeable. He is probably someone bhk trained and gave him talking points. Even the way he handles the folder is odd.
