I love Blaine so much. Especially at the beginning! He’s actually the reason I started watching glee because I saw him in Starkid’s A Very Potter Musical and its two sequels. Highly recommended if you like him!!

Chord Overstreet, the blond one? Yeah. He can sing well. In fact, he’s second generation musician. His dad, Paul Overstreet is a renown singer/songwriter. He grew up around a lot of Nashville elite. I think my fave song by his dad is Seeing My Father In Me.

I have said it before, but now can add to it, that you should check out Team StarKid musicals here on YT. Their legacy started with a musical parody trilogy of the Harry Potter franchise. Now, here is the connection (SPOILER AHEAD) - Darren Criss, who plays Blaine on Glee, performs as Harry Potter in the musicals. Not only that, he also wrote most of the songs as well. Team StarKids' Harry Potter trilogy was the start of a long "career" as they are still producing content. I hope you consider checking out their stuff because the acting is good and the music/songs of varting genres are bops. Think about it. 😉

I was a hardcore StarKid fan when I was a teen and my college roomie was obsessed with Glee and I remember googling it, and seeing that the next episode was going to have Darren in it and I binge watched the whole show just for him xD I was just listening to Not Alone and after years I still remember the lyrics, oh the memories.

This original iteration of Blaine as the more experienced, older mentor and cute love interest was always the best one. They chop and change his character so many times he turns out very unsympathetic but the original idea was a good one.

Binge watching Glee really makes you realize you only watch for the music because the writing is so bad and only got worse and more unrealistic with each season. Kurt had never been kissed? How about when he was making out with Brittney to determine his sexuality? And I know the problem is Ryan Murphy and not Glee because the writing in American Horror Story is also terrible.
