I have my Wii chocked full of awesomeness. It has an NES channel with the full library plus hacks, SNES channel with the full library plua hacks, the VBA channel with full libraries and homebrews for the Gameboy, Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance, Not64 with a great selection of Nintendo 64 games that run great on the Wii, the Sega Channel which has the SG-1000 full library, Sega Mastersystem full library, Sega Megadrive/Genesis full library, Sega Game gear full library, Atari 2600 channel with the full library, Atari 7800 channel with full library, an Atari 800/5200 channel (this one baffles me cant get the games to load???), USBloaderGX with tons of Wii and Wiiware games and Gamecube Games. Literally thousands of amazing games on the little old Wii. I just have a 32gb sd card and a 1TB hard drive attached and the Wiimote, Wii Classic Pro controller and a Gamecube wavebird and receiver. Every sytem can be played with just these peripherals. Its an amazing value for a $30 Wii, and $75 of memory card/hard drive and some controllers. Well under $150 for countless hours of gaming. I still play Mariokart Wii online with Ctgpr. Mind blowing!!

@jaccetaylor3672 I have a 1tb hard drive for my Wii and Gc games and just a 32gb SD card in the Wii for everything else, so far Ive not had any storage issue but the old stuff like Atari even up through the 16bit conoles are very small by todays measure.

@laurencemiel2882 I have the physical copies and ripped them from the Wii to the hard drive. Once you have it modded you can find the software to do the same. Im sure there are "other ways" to get those games, but I dont want the "Nintencops" after me. Google is your friend.

@@abdulwahabvanreenen723 It did on 3 out of 4. One of the mods failed in some insidious way and I spent a dozen hours trying to figure out why it wasn't working the way that it should. Certain games would freeze during loading screens and I trouble shot every angle I could think of. I tried a couple different methods of remoding the console as well and the issue persisted so it may very well have just been an issue with the Wii. Either way, this method worked well and it's pretty streamlined as well as not needing a Wi-Fi connection for the Wii so I may continue to mod with mod mii in the future.

11:03 The A, Y, and Start commands are meant for Gamecube controllers, while +, -, and Home are for the Wiimotes!

Watched many of your videos and found them to be very informative. Love the Wii and softmodded many of them connecting the Wii with a USB network device and use the letter bomb. One thing that I seen becoming very popular is getting the new $20 Walmart onn Android box and install Kodi for movies and retroarch for gaming. Could you do a full tutorial on that soon?

FYI under the most current version of BootMii, the Power/Reset buttons are reversed from what is described in the video.

@@michaelbini1103 Can confirm. The Power/Reset buttons are reversed. Also like Michael said, it's not on the backup menu. Scroll over to cogs to do the backup.

At 10:00 BootMii shows a previoua screen first not shown here, with options to boot to Wii, HBC, SD or access settings. You need to access that settings, cog ⚙️ icon on using Power button on console to navigate to that.... And then you'll see the icons shown in the video here, to dump to SD

BootMii isn’t controlled with a Wii remote. You control it from the actual front of the Wii itself. You use the power button to switch between options, and the reset button to select them.

Thanks so much for your videos really helped me on the 3DS. By the way, I have a modded Wii for about a year and the other day while playing DDR with the dance mat, my wiimote disconnected amd I have not been able to get it to sync ever since. The GameCube ports on the side also are not working now. The Wii still boots up, but cannot navigate anything since I can't connect a controller. Is there any solution for me or is this considered bricked?

NOTE FOR LATEST VERSION: 1. For me, it didn't take me to the SD backup menu automatically in Modmii menu (so I selected the SD option myself) 2. For me, Power Button actually moved things and Reset button was the one that 'selected' things

"BootMii is controlled using the Start and Reset buttons on the face of the Nintendo Wii" actually means BootMii is controlled using the POWER and Reset buttons on the face of the Wii. You navigate by pressing Power and the Reset button is the ENTER button Also, I had to change the settings on my Wii to the current date to get the letterbomb to appear after inserting the SD card

if you ever have the option of installing BootMii as boot2, choose this option over installing BootMii as IOS. Older Wiis should be able to do this because Nintendo's changes to boot2 can't patch it Nice to know that LEGO Indiana Jones hack is still a thing! I'll definitely need to update my Wii as I exploited it many years ago. I wonder if I can use my WBFS disk that I put all my games on, or if I need to re-copy them...

Hi. I have a problem with loading Gamecube games. I tried one of the backups I used for testing which is Soulcalibur 2( PAL version). When I load it through Nintendont, it does the load process and it switchs my Wii off. I don't have this problem with my Wii games. Did anyone have a similar problem that I had? I tried 2 times but at the end it says 4 of 50 files are invalid/missing. There is a problem with downloading some of the required patches while creating the SD card.

I jailbroke my Nintendo Wii with the HackMii mod. I think that's the one where you put the IP address. I also used a 2GB SD card because I didn't know that the Wii supports at least 32GB SD cards after some updates.

its seems that you have to use a specific sdcard, 2gb, formatted to fat32, and it cannot be SDHC, SDXC, or SDUC type, only plain old sdcards work
