With nothing more than the Shiny Charm, I managed to find a Shiny Espurr without even noticing that she wasn't *gray* when I threw my Pokemon at her. I just wanted an Espurr. Didn't realize she was *shiny* until I saw the sparkles in battle. They really need to fix the lack of overworld notification for shinies.

How does this work with a Sparkling Power boost from a sandwich? Do they stack or does one override the other? If it’s the latter I don’t see how this is better than getting sparkling power 3 for a specific type unless you just… don’t care about getting a specific shiny Sidenote it’s quite infuriating that they refuse to add a sound or even a sparkle for shiny Pokémon.

sandwish boost erases this meal boost and vice versa. U can only have one set active i believe. Benefits of the meal is no herba or sandwich hastle and boost applies to all types of mons at once

60 Ko's + Charm + Level 3 Sandwich is roughly 1/512 just like Masuda odds but much faster since you can reset like 15 encounters in a fraction of the time it takes to hatch 1 egg. Then there is the Special Event Mass Outbreaks like the Current Delibird one and thats gonna be like 1/100

I know this comment is off topic but I want to spread it further in the community and many more to know about it since it is a big secret in this game and I'm not often on the internet. It's about a weird cutscene that I activated by complete accident. I'll get right to it, after you've caught Terapagos, go back to the crystal pool in Kitakami and go towards the little pier that goes into the water and you'll activate the cutscene. IMPORTANT NOTE: I think you MUST have Briar's book in order to activate this weird cutscene because I just so happened to have it prior to the cutscene (for the Briar's book, you'll get it after a brief conversation with Briar in one of the classrooms in Blueberry academy after you've caught Terapagos, after the credits). Please help me spread this secret further cause it's a weird cutscene and I don't know what to make of it.

that weird cutscene is intented if you saw the diary entry when you first go to the depths with briar and kieren briar will look on some books and in there is where the diary entry is which is sada for sacrlet or the violet professor talking about US we are that child that gaved them that book

This being the laziest way to shiny hunt without the charm and farming raids and buying the table clothes for the chair maker.
